Richa Sony recently got married to the love of her life, Jigar Ali Sumbhaniya, on February 11 and 18, 2019, respectively. The two got married as per two wedding customs- a Bengali wedding on February 11, 2019, and a Muslim wedding (nikaah) on February 18, 2019. But soon trolls started posting hate comments and targeted Richa Sony to get married to a Muslim guy!

Richa Sony finally decided to shun the trolls and give it to them hard, and she did, like a warrior. Sharing a beautiful picture from their wedding, Richa Sony wrote on Instagram that she thinks trolls are spineless and she is also very proud of her husband. She captioned her photo as, "This photo from our wedding is especially for the haters. Who keeps stalking me with random Names and identity. You may be spineless but I am not and that troubles you filthy haters. You can only diversify the cast, creed and religion. It’s very easy for you haters to call someone prostitute. And, speak about religion. That says a lot about your humanity/upbringing. Your hatred comments won’t stop me to post pictures I wish to post. It’s my page and has a class. Show me your real identity and look on your own. What I do to you! Cheers!! Also, I am proud of my husband @alisumbhaniya if that rubs my haters wrong way. Do me a favour shove some chillies in your ass and burn."

Richa Sony had earlier talked about the issue of religion as to how her parents weren't supportive initially but later they agreed. She was quoted as saying, "Religion was an issue earlier, because our customs and traditions are completely different. My parents were quite upset about me dating and planning to marry a Muslim guy. But, they gave in when they realised that Jigar will keep me happy at any cost. It’s the person that makes your world beautiful, and in my case, it’s Jigar. Today, I can say that I am not a Hindu or a Muslim, but a human first. Also, both Jigar and I are quite liberal. We complement and complete each other. We follow and respect each other’s cultures and religions. Our parents are also humble, cordial and respectful towards each other." Richa and Jigar had two weddings. Speaking about her two wedding rituals, Richa had shared with The Times of India, “I am a Bengali born and brought up in Bihar. So, we followed Bengali rituals for the first wedding, which happened in Mumbai. The second ceremony happened in Ajmer Sharif. During the nikaah, Jigar chose the name Mahenoor for me.”

Reminiscing their love story and where they met, Richa had further added, “I met Jigar at a fitness workshop and we became friends. I didn’t fall in love with him at first, but he didn’t give up (laughs!). When I met him, I was nursing a heartbreak. So, when Jigar proposed, I told him that I was not in a position to think about marriage at all. But his approach was simple. He didn’t woo me, but allowed me to be myself. I can’t pick that one moment when I fell in love with him. It happened organically.”

Richa Sony had also shared that Jigar had asked her to date him forever but as a wife. Richa had retorted, “It always felt right with him. If I may say so, Jigar is my knight in shining armour, emotionally. I would have been a bitter person if he had not entered my life. He simply told me that he would want to date me forever but as a wife. I fell for his charm (smiles). We are different; while I am organised, he lives in the moment. But then, he knows where to stop before I get angry (laughs!). With him, I have learnt the true meaning of being myself.” (Must Read: Kavita Kaushik Shares She Doesn't Want Kids, Can't See Her Kids In 20s Taking Care Of Old Parents)
