Bollywood's power couple, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal's left the entire nation in awe with their wedding festivities. In 2020, the couple registered their marriage but didn't celebrate their happiness in a grand way due to the pandemic. Another reason was Ali's mother's sudden demise, which left the actor heartbroken. However, things are back on track, and the duo had a grand celebration of their love in October 2022.
On September 30, 2022, Richa posted the first pictures from her pre-wedding ceremony. The bride-to-be had looked the prettiest, donning a pastel pink-coloured lehenga. Her outfit featured a heavy floral lehenga with 3-D petal-designed off-shoulder choli, and a matching net dupatta. She had kept her look minimal with a statement neckpiece and matching earrings.

Richa and Ali made a grand appearance at Ayushmann Khurrana's wedding bash. In the video shared by a paparazzi page, we can see the couple was all smiles as they arrived hand-in-hand for the bash. Later, in the video, Richa was seen fixing her dupatta, which she wore over her saree. It seemed like she was trying to hide her tummy. As soon as the video was posted, netizens were quick to conclude that Richa is pregnant. While some trolled her for carrying a dupatta with a saree, others speculated that she was trying to hide her baby bump. One user wrote, "Is she expecting?" Another commented, "She looks pregnant."
On September 29, 2022, Richa and Ali shared an Instagram post, wherein they had posted a voice note for their millions of fans. The couple also talked about formalising their union two years ago but they waited so long to celebrate their union with their family and friends. The note began with Richa saying, "Two years ago we formalised our union, and just then the pandemic hit us all." To this, Ali added, "Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other." The couple concluded that they were finally celebrating their marriage.
For the unversed, Richa and Ali met on the sets of Fukrey in 2012. After seven years of dating, Ali proposed to Richa in 2019.
