Richa has always been vocal about her feelings and her thoughts on love. There was a time when she had openly shared that she could never fall for any actor. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Richa had talked about the same and had stated that she learnt that 'never say never' with this experience. The duo had celebrated their 2020 with a beach vacation and Richa had shared the picture from their holiday on her Instagram handle.
Recently, in an interview with BollywoodLife, Richa opened up about marriage and her thoughts on falling in love with Ali Fazal. She shared that falling in love with Ali is nothing short of a miracle. She further shared that it is wonderful for two people, who have similar backgrounds from middle-class upbringings to get. The actress said that they found each other and are happy with each other. She thinks that itself is a huge miracle. They are not just attracted to each other, but also understand each other on a fundamental level. She also talked about her thoughts on marriage and shared that she doesn't relate to the fundamentals of marriage despite the fact that her parents have a successful one. She calls it unfair for women as they have to keep on making changes in their name on passport, documents and life.
In a 2019 interview with The Times of India, Richa had given a witty reply when she was asked about her marriage plans. She had stated, "Planning our marriage will require a production team. Ali will have to bring in his team and I will have to rope in mine, because we’re both busy and at times, not even in the same time-zone. These days, he barely gets five days in a month to himself. It’s not like we are afraid to commit, but we have not had the time to even meet each other properly. For example, I have met him only for two days each in July and August. Sometimes, even travelling from Andheri to Bandra seems like a long-distance commute. Ali arrives in the city late at night, and I usually have an early morning shift, so we just video chat with each other. How do we plan marriage in such a situation?"
In the same interview, Richa had also shared how they spend time with each other. She had revealed, "Ali is my best friend and my first fan club. He never misses a chance to surprise me with a visit wherever I am. Whenever we are together, we indulge in a lot of fun activities — cooking, watching movies, working out and generally chilling."
