For the past few days, Bollywood’s heartthrobs, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been treating us with adorable glimpses of their wedding festivities. Be it their mehendi, sangeet, cocktail or reception, this madly-in-love couple has stolen every other celeb’s thunder with dreamy looks, and their fans still cannot get over them.
On October 4, 2022, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha posted the much-awaited pictures from their Lucknow reception on their respective Instagram handles. In the pictures, the newly-wedded couple looked like a match made in heaven in their respective wedding ensembles. While Richa opted for a white sharara, Ali donned a matching sherwani. The ensembles were from the shelves of the famous designer duo, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Along with the pictures, Ali Fazal penned:
"Ek Daur hum bhi hain. Ek silsila tum bhi ho. #RiAli."

While scrolling through our IG feed, we got a glimpse of Richa’s bridal entry, and it was simply unmissable. In the video, Richa was seen walking towards the wedding mandap, and a group of her male friends held her long trail. Her then-groom-to-be, Ali Fazal, held her hand and blew flying kisses to the ones, who held her trail. It was rather a unique bridal entry just like the unique couple.

On October 4, 2022, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal issued a statement and revealed that they have been legally married for the past two-and-a-half years. In the statement, the couple's spokesperson mentioned that the duo had got their wedding registered 2.5 years ago. The statement could be read as:
"This is to clarify that Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been legally married for 2.5 years when they registered their wedding. Currently, they are celebrating their union with friends and family, as was already mentioned by them on 29th September in their statement."

On September 30, 2022, Richa posted the first pictures from her pre-wedding ceremony. For the ceremony, Ali donned an ivory-coloured angrakha kurta with matching pants and doshala from the shelves of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Whereas, Richa opted for a 3-D petal-shaped off-shoulder choli with floral lehenga by designer, Rahul Mishra.
