When Raveena Tandon had adopted two girls, Chhaya and Pooja in 1995, it was unheard of, and her family and friends were worried as how would this affect her camaraderie with her future husband. But the lucky woman that Raveena Tandon is, she had gotten a friend in her husband, Anil Thadani, who had understood and had supported her decision. Raveena had always known that he was man enough to take charge of everything as he had started handling everything related to them. Apart from two adopted daughters, she has two biological kids, Ranbir & Rasha Thadani.
Bollywood actress, Raveena Tandon took a round of her memory lanes and dug out some old pictures of her daughter, Rasha Thadani from her childhood to her teenage, and shared them on her Instagram handle. She also wrote a heartfelt note alongside the pictures which can be read as "Every day a different memory... best times is when you can spend hours dressing up your little ones and it is such fun.. and they still haven’t learnt to protest! Once they have a mind of their own, all becomes a distant dream. Raveena had adopted her daughters, Chhaya and Pooja Tandon at the mere age of 21, as a single mother when her career was at the peak. This bold, unconventional step had earned her the respect of everyone and had made her an inspiration for millions! In a conversation with SpotboyE, Raveena had bared her heart out and had spoken on the challenges of the motherhood journey. Talking about the equation she shares with Chhaya and Pooja, she had said, "We discussed everything under the sun. From boyfriends, crushes, my life- good or bad. I told them learn from my mistakes, I told them whatever was happening in my life. Got them ready for the reality, never sugar-coated the world to them." On the subject of how did she manage to spend time with her daughters, growing up, she had revealed the late-night culture that she has at her home and had shared, "I have given my daughters the freedom of keeping the company they want, but have always told them, whoever is coming to drop you home, should come upstairs and meet me." The proud mother had also shared how well her daughters are doing in their lives and had shared, "It's so nice to see them seize the opportunities life gave them. My elder daughter, Chhaya, who is just 11 years younger to me, is in South Africa, working for a pharmaceutical company. She is a VP, has her own bungalow, is living a great life.
