Rashami Desai Thanks Salman Khan For Helping Her To Cope-Up With The Loss Of Love In Her Life

Love brings the best and the worst in all of us. Love is the reason for some of our best and happiest memories and some of our worst fears and nightmares. A famous poet had rightly said, "Ishq ek aag ka dariya hai doob ke jana hai." If love makes you the best version of yourself, it can also break you and do seemingly irreparable damage to your soul. How you pick yourself up from that lowest point in your life and tread forward decides your worth. Television actress, Rashami Desai has also gone through such an ordeal but had emerged victorious every time. Earlier, it was her marriage with Nandish Singh Sandhu that had hit the rock bottom and the couple had separated. After that, Rashami had found love again in a businessman, Arhaan Khan, but this time around as well, things hadn't gone well and she had broken up with him. In her latest interview with ETimes, Rashami Desai opened up about who all helped her in coping up with the loss of love in her life and how she dealt with that low phase. Talking about how superstar, Salman Khan and a few other close friends had helped her heal when she was deceived in love, Rashami Desai said, "The first time out (marriage), I was shaken up very badly. I had got involved and taken a big step (marriage) in my life rather quickly. But I soon realised that it was better to move out from it. If two people stay in a relationship despite the fact that they don't get along, it ends up hindering their growth and both of them get suppressed. And I came out from my marriage very respectfully."

Rashami further talked about how she considers herself lucky that everything (about her ex-boyfriend, Arhaan Khan) was exposed in the public domain itself. She said, "The second time out (love), it took me a long time to admit to the relationship. But now, looking back, I think I am blessed that everything got exposed in the public domain. 'Jab aap achche hote hain toh aapke saath achcha hi hota hai (When you are good, good things will happen to you). It was a tough time no doubt as I wondered what to do next which is natural if one's support system comes crashing down. One then doesn't have the clarity ahead; the future plans lie dashed to the ground." (Also Read: Angad Bedi Flaunts Striking Resemblance Between Him And His Dad, Bishan Singh Bedi's Bowling Style)

Rashami then talked about how she had felt at peace after everything was over. She then thanked Salman Khan for supporting her throughout and said, "I felt I was in a place where most people looked at their advantage. But the good thing was that I never spoke bad about anybody. Jo mere andar bhadaas thi, woh bhadaas maine nahi nikali (I did not give vent to my anger). But if it hadn't been for Salman Khan Sir and a few friends, I would have been in a bad state. A lot of people may have had their judgment or perception about me and I have no complaints about that. But one thing despite the fact that Bigg Boss 13 is over still nags me because we are in COVID times. I ponder: 'Am I safe even today?' Life has a fetish for bowling googlies at you."

On the question of if she has cleansed herself from all the bitter memories of those two chapters of her life yet, Rashami Desai said, "It's life. Sometimes you write right, sometimes you write wrong. Your intent is not wrong but yet things happen. Good or bad, you can't erase those portions. You might as well live with them."
