Raqesh Bapat’s fans were super-happy when he had made his comeback with the most controversial show, Bigg Boss OTT. The actor was known for his calm and composed nature inside the show despite the constant fights emerging inside the house. This had, in fact, made him win his co-contestant, Shamita Shetty’s heart. Shamita, later, went on to participate in Bigg Boss 15. However, Raqesh took his time to join his ladylove.
A few days back, Raqesh Bapat had entered the Bigg Boss 15 house as a wild card. His bae, Shamita Shetty was shocked to see him as he had surprised her inside the house, disguising as a Gorilla, winning their fans’ hearts. However, on November 8, 2021, Raqesh had to leave the Bigg Boss house after complaining of pain in his stomach.

As Raqesh Bapat was taken out of the reality show in an emergency situation, his fans are worried about him and his health. His sister, Sheetal Bapat took to her Twitter handle to talk about his health and thanked his fans. She tweeted:
"Health is always the first priority, @RaQesh19 is doing better as per the updates we are getting from the team. Overwhelmed with the love and support from all of you. God Bless #RaqeshBapat"
Raqesh Bapat was rushed out of the Bigg Boss 15 house after he had suffered immense pain due to kidney stones. A report by ETimes had stated that the actor had experienced pain in his stomach on the night of November 8, 2021. Sources close to the show had revealed that he was taken out of the house, which is located at Film City in Mumbai, on November 9, 2021. He was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai and is kept under observation for some time.

Raqesh Bapat’s girlfriend, Shamita Shetty bonds well with their co-contestant, Vishal Kotian. They are often seen sorting out their differences created because of outsiders’ views, but he never leaves a chance to backstab her. In an unseen clip from the Bigg Boss 15 house, Vishal was seen making fun of the way Raqesh spells his name, and later, he had also made fun of his bond with Shamita. Vishal had said:
“Bohot bada haath maara hai apne bhai ne. Seedha woh Shilpa Shetty jo hai na, uski behen ko pata liya hai. Ab kya hai ki uske dum pe yeh show se woh show, woh show se yeh show karta rehta hai, uska chalta rahega.”
Shamita Shetty's mother, Sunanda Shetty, had reacted to Vishal's hurtful comment. Taking to Twitter, Sunanda had reposted the video, and in a series of tweets, she had called Vishal, a snake. She had written:
"Most distasteful clip - SHAME on most distrustful man (snake emoji) Vishal Kotian in BB15 who calls Shamzi Akka (sister)-such a shame-time to stop this facade never trusted this man- lied and swore on his mother with same lines & promises."
