While we had seen love between the two, they are in no hurry to rush things and are taking their own time to know each other. Just like the other couples, who get judged for making a bond in the show, Shamita and Raqesh had to face the same. However, they proved that their chemistry was not just for the camera as they are hanging out even after coming out of the house.
Though inside the Bigg Boss OTT house, Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat could be often seen fighting with each other, they were also each other's greatest support system. The duo had stolen millions of hearts with their mushy romance and their fans had started trending them as ‘ShaRa’, lovingly. Now, the former co-contestants spilt the beans about each other and proved how well they know the other person.

On September 26, 2021, Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat went LIVE on Instagram and answered some of the questions of their fans. Raqesh, who besides acting, also has an artistic side was asked about where he would visualise Shamita if he had to paint her. On hearing the question, Raqesh became a bit shy and blushed. In reply, the actor said that the question was indeed very 'naughty' and tackled it very wittily.
Raqesh Bapat told the fan that he would love to paint Shamita standing on the shore of a beach and donning a flowy dress. In his words, ''That is a very naughty question, by the way. I think I would like to paint her standing by the beach, with the sea in front of her and the breeze brushing through her hair, maybe a flowy dress. I think I would like to capture her on the sand, looking at the sea.'' On hearing his reply, Shamita Shetty said, ''Awww, that’s beautiful.”

At the end of the LIVE session, Raqesh Bapat gave a surprise to the fans by revealing that he and Shamita were together, though it appeared in the beginning that they joined the LIVE from different locations. When a fan asked if they are staying together, Shamita and Raqesh refuted it by laughing it off. While Shamita said, ''No'', Raqesh added, ''Right now, we are for the interview. Nothing beyond that.''
On September 24, 2021, Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty had gone out on their first date and were snapped by the paparazzi. They were spotted at her sister, Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s restaurant, Bastian after dinner. In fact, Raqesh had also shared a romantic picture from their dinner date and it had featured them holding each other’s hand on the dinner table. Raqesh had captioned the picture as “U and I," with a red heart emoticon and had added a hashtag that could be read as '#ShaRa'.
