Bigg Boss OTT is over, but the mess done inside the web show seems to have no end. Inside the show, we had witnessed Raqesh Bapat bond with Shamita Shetty and the two had on-and-off also confessed their feelings also, for each other. While outside the show, they are discovering their connection further, when they were in the show, Kashmera Shah had called Raqesh ‘henpecked’, irking his ex-wife, Ridhi Dogra.
For the unversed, Raqesh Bapat was always seen following Shamita Shetty’s guidelines and mending things with her, and this had made Kashmera Shah troll him. On her Twitter handle, Kashmera had shared that Raqesh is on his way to become a henpecked husband again. She had tweeted, "Congratulations @RaQesh19, you are on your way to becoming a henpecked husband… again." This had not gone well with his ex-wife, Ridhi Dogra, who had asked her not to pass loose comments. She had replied, "Again!? Excuse me. Kindly don't make loose comments. Peace out."

Now, in a conversation with ETimes, Raqesh Bapat recalled his conversation with his ex-wife, Ridhi Dogra over Kashmera Shah’s henpecked remark. He said, “She was just bothered about me being called henpecked. She also reacted against it. Ridhi told me that you as a person can never be henpecked and it's just that you care a lot about people who you like and that's why you are that way. She also said to me that when you feel for a person, you would never react to that person in an angry way.”
After Raqesh was out of the Bigg Boss house, he had slammed Kashmera for her ‘henpecked husband’ comment. Talking about the same, in an interview with PeepingMoon, he had said, "I would say I'm not henpecked, I'm a caring husband because I always give my woman the space, the treatment, the respect and I don't cross that. And I treat my woman like a queen and that's what a man should do because there's love and a lot of caring so somewhere I like to treat my people special and it doesn't make you henpecked."

Raqesh Bapat’s heart is now connecting with Shamita Shetty. On September 24, 2021, Raqesh and Shamita were spotted at her sister, Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s restaurant, Bastian for a date. He had taken to his Instagram handle to share a picture from their dinner date, where they could be seen holding each other’s hands on the dinner table. Raqesh had captioned the picture as “U and I," with a red heart emoji and a hashtag that read '#ShaRa', the nickname given by their fans.
In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Raqesh had shared his ex-wife, Ridhi’s reaction to his bond with Shamita. Raqesh had said, “She would be happy if I am with somebody and likewise, I will be happy if she finds somebody. Because at the end of it, we are two individuals, it’s water under the bridge now. We are two mature people and whatever decisions we have made so far were our own, we dealt with it maturely and we came out of it with flying colours.”
