It was yesterday (November 21, 2018) that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh hosted their first of the three receptions at the Leela Palace, Bangalore. As soon as their first pictures from the bash surfaced online, fans and netizens couldn't help but notice Ranveer’s extreme caring nature for his wife, Deepika. From adjusting her pallu to giving her a flying kiss, Ranveer proved to be a power husband in every sense. And one thing which garnered our attention the most last night was Ranveer’s outfit which was designed by ace fashion designer, Rohit Bal. In fact, Rohit Bal took to his official Instagram handle and shared that the Bhavnanis- Ranveer, his mother and father- Anju Bhavnani and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, and sister, Ritika Bhavnani all were donned in Rohit Bal outfits. And just take a look at Ranveer Singh twinning with his mother in black and gold. As you can see, Ranveer is donned in a black and gold sherwani and his mother is looking stunning in an A-line jacket with lehenga of the same colour:
Rohit Bal captioned the above pic as, “Ranveer Singh and his beautiful family all dressed in ROHIT BAL COUTURE God Bless the beautiful couple and may the families stay blessed with Love , Peace, Happiness, Prosperity and above all Good Health. Love and hugs.”
Just before DeepVeer’s grand entry into the reception hall, Rohit Bal also shared their first look and wrote, “Ranveer Singh in Rohit Bal Looking resplendent and elegant Congratulations Deepika and Ranveer. God bless and love forever.”
Photos and videos from DeepVeer’s Bangalore reception have been going viral on social media. And the one which is creating the maximum buzz on social media is wherein Ranveer justifies why he won’t pose for single photographs in front of the media. LOL! Last night, nutritionist Pooja Makhija was present at DeepVeer’s reception. She shared the following pic posing with Deepika and her mom, Ujjala Padukone. She also captioned the pics beautifully, “The life. The love. The laugh. The bride with the greatest humility, brightest smile and the biggest heart. With her mother - her strength her model. I heart you @deepikapadukone you are blessed and may you stay blessed with this man who stood and Smiled with each and every one of your relative and guest and staff and loved one from your hometown. Total love and admiration for you @ranveersingh Stay blessed. #deepveer.”
Earlier, a media report had claimed the reason behind choosing the Leela Palace as the venue for Bangalore reception. The report could be read as, “The biggest reason why Deepika chose to have the reception at the Leela, Bangalore was renowned Italian restaurant of New York, Le Cirque which goes by the name Le Cirque Signature. DP loves the restaurant in NYC and their franchise in Bengaluru drew Deepika to The Leela. Her mother has also gone food tasting 2-3 times. The food will be pre-dominantly South Indian though. They will check into the hotel on 20th and check out on 22nd.”
Now that the first reception is over, Deepika and Ranveer will start gearing for their two Mumbai receptions which are to be held on November 28 and December 01, 2018. Post their receptions, the couple who go on a short honeymoon. Talking about their honeymoon, a Mumbai Mirror report earlier suggested, “The couple will head for a brief honeymoon before Ranveer dives into the promotions of Simmba which opens on December 28.”
When all is done and dusted, DeepVeer is going to shift to their new bungalow in Mumbai. Speaking of which, a recent media report could be read as, “Ranveer and Deepika were looking for their perfect home since quite a while and the moment they saw this property, they knew they wanted it. It’s a huge bungalow which costs Rs 50 crore approximately. They wanted the interiors more personalised so the work in that house is still on.
