In the recent episode of Koffee with Karan season 6, wherein we saw the clips which didn’t make it to the final cut, Ranveer Singh’s candid confession went viral with his fans. On being asked about Deepika Padukone’s one habit which she needs to change before their then-much-awaited-marriage, Ranveer had replied, “I hope she can chill out. She’s just very strict disciplinarian who cracks the whip. She gotta chill. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married on November 14-15, 2018, in Italy in a dreamy destination wedding and since then, they have been asked about their marital life and changes post-marriage. Something similar happened yesterday, on March 12, 2019, when Ranveer attended the press conference for Filmfare Awards and he was asked the same. Ranveer candidly confessed that he has now been tied down by the duties of marriage. The Simmba actor said, “I wake up on time, I eat on time, I go to work on time, come back on time, in short, I've become a good boy now.”
It must be noted here that before their marriage when Deepika was asked about Ranveer, and what habit of his, he should change, she had said that he needs to be more punctual. Well, it seems that Deepika has finally succeeded in her plans! LOL!
During the Filmfare Awards press conference, Ranveer Singh recalled the most magical night of his life with Deepika Padukone. He was quoted as saying, “That was the most magical night. Deepika, my wife, won on the same night for Piku, so to win with her in the same year was very special for me, special for our whole family who were present there. Rekha ji gave me the award and you know who was sitting in the first row? The man I wanted to be growing up, Amitabh Bachchan. I could not ask for more. Talking about his habits and routine, and how it has changed post-marrying Deepika, Ranveer had also shared recently, “I am a nocturnal creature. I am so wound up through the day that I take a long time to unwind at night. I sleep late and have trouble waking up. But now that I am in grahasti, things are much better. I reach places on time. I reach my appointments on time. But she has a background of being a sports person and the core is attached to discipline.”
The Gully Boy actor had further added, “She is proper about her sleeping and eating habits. She makes sure she is calling me and telling me that ‘chalo ho gaya abhi come home and sleep’. She puts me to bed on time. She makes sure I sleep on time and wake up on time. I am getting into a healthy routine. All her positive influence are doing me well. I was prepared for it coz I was a bit of ayaash pehle. Now, I am becoming a good boy.”
Ranveer and Deepika have been talking about their lives post-marriage in every press interviews and events where they go. Recently, Ranveer had shared how Deepika and he are like BFFs inside their house. He was quoted as saying, “When we are home, we are super chill. We are like friends. And that's the most beautiful part about it. We have a lot of common ground. Since we both are movie stars, we have a lot more to talk about. But I think what is most significant for me is that we are besties. We are BFFs. We are buddies.
