The COVID-19 outbreak in the world has abruptly paused our busy lives. The pandemic has taken many lives and till the time there is no solution, the world is encouraging social distancing. In India, the government had declared 21 days of lockdown but it increased to a month and now, it has been two months. We are trying to get used to the 'new normal' seeing everyone with masked faces. In these testing times, it is our family bond that is keeping us sane and our hope of better days. Recently, Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh opened up on how he is spending his quarantine with wife, Deepika Padukone. Deepika and Ranveer often share snippets of their quarantine time on their respective Instagram handles. While we are drooling over Deepika's chef skills, Ranveer's laziness is a story of every 'husband'. Oh, and we cannot forget Deepika's organisation skills that she had even labelled her 'husband' as well. The duo is continuously giving us couple goals even being locked inside their homes.
Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Ranveer shared how he is spending his lockdown with wife, Deepika Padukone. He shared that life had gotten too busy after he had tied the knot, but this sudden break is helping the couple in rediscovering each other. The actor said, "In a way, this lockdown period has been well-timed for me. I get this time to introspect, to focus on myself. As actors you say you are the player and you are the instrument - this body that we have, this mortal vessel that we have - we are the players and this is our instrument. So, to able to focus on myself, to be able to get time with my wife has been really good. After we got married, it was crazy busy for both of us. So it’s given time to re-discover each other in a different way, bond with each other."
A few weeks ago, Deepika like every wife had complained about her 'darling hubby', Ranveer's getting-up late in the morning habit. She had taken to her Instagram stories and had shared a note that could be read as "Meanwhile @ranveersingh overslept this morning and was late getting to the living room!" In a hangout interview with Rajeev Masand, Deepika had talked about how she is spending her quarantine days with her hubby, Ranveer. She had shared, "I have to say, he’s the easiest person to live within this scenario. He’s sleeping for about 20 hours, which really allows me time to do things that I want to do. For the four hours that he’s awake, we’re either watching a movie, eating, exercising. He’s a real joy to be with at this time. No demands, no hassles, he’s very easy."
