After Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, if the world is waiting for any celeb wedding desperately, it’s Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding. There have been reports floating about Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding ever since the news of DeepVeer (as the couple is affectionately called by fans), meeting their parents came out right before the release of Padmaavat.
And now, there is a lead in the news. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding is likely to place between September and December 2018. The news portal has learnt that DeepVeer’s parents have finalised four auspicious dates for the wedding. A source from the report can be quoted as saying, “It will be an extremely private, traditional Hindu ceremony with the couple tying the knot in the presence of only close friends and family. The couple is still deciding if they want a reception to follow.”
Last week, online media portal, SpotboyE, reported on Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding. A source in the report opened up and said, “Ranveer and Deepika wanted a destination wedding, but, the actor’s parents are keen it takes place in Mumbai. Reason? Most of Singh family’s relatives live in Mumbai and Delhi and they do not want them to miss out on the celebrations.”
It was further added, “The wedding will take place as per South Indian rituals and high profile venues such as Taj Lands End, Four Seasons and St Regis are being considered as the venue. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a grand reception.”
In fact, as per reports, Deepika has already started shopping for her wedding. She left for London on March 2, 2018, along with Ranveer’s parents. They are currently looking for the perfect jewellery and outfits for the much-awaited, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding.
Just before the release of highly controversial Padmaavat, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone (Deepika’s parents), and Jagjit Singh and Anju Bhavnani (Ranveer’s parents) sat down and had a low-key celebration. The families met at Ranveer’s Bandra residence and also exchanged gifts which included a Sabyasachi saree for the 32-year-old actress. Since then, rumours mills have been abuzz with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding news.
After the glamorous and stunning screening of Padmaavat, Ranveer and Deepika were seen walking hand-in-hand. A source revealed to the Mumbai Mirror, “They had just returned from their week-long holiday in the Maldives and their respective parents had recently blessed the alliance. It was the perfect moment to celebrate the union and the couple didn’t shy away from the photogs as they left together in Ranveer’s car.”
After these wedding reports, we can’t wait more for Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding to take place. On the professional front, Ranveer Singh is busy with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The couple recently was seen in the super hit Padmaavat.
