Rani and Aditya had a secret wedding, and not many B-Town celebrities were aware of it. The couple has been happily married for 7 long years now. After a year-and-a-half of their married life, Rani and Aditya were blessed with a baby girl whom they have named Adira Chopra. Adira's name is an amalgamation of Aditya and Rani's names.
Talking about Rani's relationship with her daughter, Adira, we can say that it is very special. Adira, who turned six in December 2021, is rarely seen in public. Rani immensely loves her, and in a recent interview, the actress shared how her daughter, Adira Chopra, dislikes the pap culture. The actress revealed that her daughter has already grown an aversion to the paparazzi, and she doesn't like getting clicked and the photographers also provide privacy to her.
In an interview with the MId-Day, Rani Mukerji opened up about her daughter, Adira's take on the paparazzi culture. The doting mommy revealed that Adira is confused about why the photographers keep clicking pictures of them, whenever they go outside. Rani also acted out how her daughter shouts "No photo mumma", and added:
"No means a no, and yes means a yes for Adira. And you can't really change that. She goes like, 'No mumma, no photo.'"
Rani also shared that the paps are very kind to her, and added that they oblige to her request of not clicking Adira, whenever they step out. The actress said that the paps take only her photos and explained:
"This time when I came back, and at the airport, there were these paps. The photographers have been very kind to me. So whenever I am travelling I always tell them 'baby ka photo mat lo' so they let Adira go and then they click my picture."
Further in the interview, Rani Mukerji recalled one particular incident between her daughter, Adira and the paparazzi. She shared that when the paps had spotted them at the airport, she had sent Adira inside the car and had let the paps click her pictures. The doting mommy revealed her daughter's reaction to it and said:
"So this time again, Adira got in first, and I was getting clicked, and then I came in the car. She's like 'Yeh bhaiya log bahot ganda hai na mumma aapka photo hamesha lete rehta hai.' So I said 'haan bhaiya log bahut ganda hai. Haa babu hamesha lete rehta hai.' Then she asks 'haa mumma kyu lete rehta hai,' I say 'mujhe bhi nahi pata babu.'"
