Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are newbie parents in Tinseltown, and they have been trying to protect the privacy of their baby girl, Raha Kapoor, ever since she was born on November 6, 2022. However, their fans have been eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of princess Kapoor, but the couple requested the paparazzi not to click pictures of their daughter. Just like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, Ranbir and Alia will also protect the privacy of their baby girl in the best way possible.
Recently, Ranbir Kapoor appeared on his cousin, Kareena Kapoor Khan's show, What Women Want, and shared many interesting anecdotes from his personal life. Talking about his daughter, Raha, the actor shared that he and Alia want their baby to have a normal upbringing. He also mentioned that they are trying to protect Raha’s privacy as much as they can and added:
"So as parents, we will try to protect Raha’s privacy as much as we can. We just want for her to have a normal upbringing. To go to school, to not make her feel too special, or different around other children. She should just have a normal life. Other than that, there is no rule that ‘Oh we want it this way'."

Ranbir Kapoor compared how Kareena's kids are always in the limelight, while he and Alia are protecting their baby's privacy. The actor even jokingly mentioned that he hopes that his daughter, Raha, should not grow up thinking that no one is clicking her pictures, as the paparazzi often click her cousins, Taimur and Jeh. He said:
"Raha should not grow up and after 4-5 years say, ‘Why are they not clicking me?’ She should not be saying that also! What if she comes one day and says, ‘See how much Jeh and Taimur get clicked! Mere toh koi photos he nahi le raha'.”
Further, Ranbir also talked about the constant media attention Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's firstborn, Taimur Ali Khan, had received when he was born. Reflecting on the same, he shared that he had never seen a child getting so much of the spotlight in any industry. Admitting that he is aware that people would be interested in his and Alia's lives and would want to click their daughter, Raha's photograph, the actor said:
“We definitely don’t want to sit on this high castle and say don’t do this, don’t do that."
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt hosted a special get-together for media photographers and requested the media not to click their daughter, Raha Kapoor's pictures whenever she steps out with her family members. Alia revealed that she would allow them to take Raha's pictures when the time is right. However, Ranbir showed the paps some beautiful images of his baby girl on his phone. Indeed, it was a beautiful gesture by the newbie parents, and it simply melted our hearts in no time!
