Well, it was the night of Zee Cine Awards yesterday on March 19, 2019, and a video from the same has been taking social media by storm. In the video, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt can be seen dancing on the famous Hindi song, Ishq Wala Love. The chemistry and love between these two were so evident in their mannerisms and the way they danced with each other. Ranbir Kapoor even went down on his knees. Ranbir and Alia’s wedding reports have been rife lately. Talking to the Hindustan Times about the same, the Raazi actress recently said, “Not at all! I feel it’s all unnecessary chatter. You have to understand that personal life is called ‘personal’ for a reason. In fact, that’s why not many speak up about their relationships. The minute you say anything, there are random pieces of news including my supposed marriage.”
She further added, “It has even reached my fans. So, sometimes, when I interact with them on social media, they also ask me when I am getting married. And I am like, ‘why are you asking me this? Have I said anything? Have I given a feeler?’ No. Since it has been a “season of marriages”, everyone expects that I might also do the same.”
Alia Bhatt also shared that marriage is something that hasn’t even crossed her mind. The 26-year-old powerhouse retorted, “But marriage is something that hasn’t even crossed my mind. I am not averse to it. But it’s not a part of my plan right now. I have a lot of work to do. It’s not as if I won’t work post marriage, whenever it happens. But right now, my focus is just on work. My priorities will probably shift in time. As of now, it hasn’t.”
Speaking of Ranbir and Alia’s wedding, which reportedly will take place by the end of 2019, a close family friend of the Kapoors recently shed some light on the same and had shared, “She (Alia) has been welcomed into the family by everyone. So it’s not just Ranbir who loves Alia. His parents, sister and the rest of the sprawling Kapoor family adore her too. Marriage is on Ranbir’s mind for sure and he will get into it happily this time. It must be noted here that Ranbir Kapoor's father, Rishi Kapoor is in the USA undergoing cancer treatment. Ranbir has commented as to when his father will get back. He has shared, "Well, he's doing very well and he will be back very soon." Ranbir further added, "He is missing his movies and he is missing working in films. I really hope that with all your wishes and prayers he comes back very soon."
