For the uninitiated, Rakhi Sawant has not revealed the identity of her husband till today. All her fans know is that his name is Ritesh, no one has ever seen him or his pictures. And it seems that Rakhi Sawant is all set to change that soon.
In an interview with ETimes, Rakhi Sawant revealed that she got married under very difficult circumstances and hence, she did not reveal anything about her husband. But now, she wants to change that. She was quoted saying, "I know it's high time and people, especially my fans, want to see him. They have been demanding it since I got married and as I am entering the Bigg Boss House, I want him to introduce himself to everyone. In fact, maine usse dhamki bhi di hai, ki ab usse sabke saamne aana hi hoga. What if Salman Sir asks to meet my husband?"
Rakhi Sawant then added, "I got married under very difficult circumstances and we could not announce it. It was a love-cum- arranged marriage and he is a UK based businessman. I am soon going to reveal all other details to the public. It's just a matter of time. Jaldi hi doodh ka doodh aur pani ka pani ho jayega."
It was in 2019 when Rakhi Sawant had surprised everyone with the announcement of her wedding with a UK-based mystery man. To announce her marriage, Rakhi Sawant had posted pictures of herself, dressed as a bride in a white gown with a veil over her head holding a bouquet of tulips. Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, she had talked about the 'tragedy' in her married life. Talking about her husband, Rakhi had said, "I'm still married, but there's some amount of tragedy involved due to which I'd like to stay away from discussing this topic. I don't want to talk about my husband. It just makes me very sad and emotional." According to a report in Jagran English, on Bigg Boss, fellow challenger, Arshi Khan had mocked Rakhi and her marriage saying that she has heard that her husband is bald. Rakhi had then admitted to being married thrice.
Rakhi Sawant's NRI husband, Ritesh had stayed away from the media and was a mystery until October when he had finally come out in the open and had given his first interview. In an interview with SpotboyE, praising his wife to the fullest, Riteish had remarked, "I am blessed. Rakhi is God's gift to me. I have never seen a woman like her. I think she is superior to me." Talking about one thing he would never want to change in Rakhi, he had said, "Her outspokenness. She is very frank, and I think that's a great virtue." Riteish had expressed his wish of starting a family and had said, "I want two kids. I have a gut feeling that my first will be a daughter and the second one will be a son."
