Indian actress, Rakhi Sawant is going through the toughest phase of her life as her mother, Jaya Bhede left for the heavenly abode. Rakhi's mother had a tough battle with cancer and a brain tumour, and on January 28, 2023, she took her last breath in ICU. It was a heartwrenching moment, and Rakhi looked totally broken.
On January 29, 2023, Rakhi's mother, Jaya Bhede last rites are being performed. In a video that made rounds on the internet, Rakhi was seen totally broken as she bid goodbye to her mother. Her husband, Adil Durrani was beside her like a pillar of strength. In the clip, Rakhi's pet dog also looked heartbroken as he saw the casket of her mother.

Rakhi also shared a heartbreaking post on her Instagram handle. In the video, Rakhi was sitting on the floor of the hospital. Alongside it, she revealed that her mother is no more and how much she is going to miss her. She wrote
"Aaj meri maa ka haat sar se uth gaya or mere pass khone ke liye kuch nahi bacha. I love you MAA. Aap ke bina kuch nahi raha, ab kaun meri pukar sunega or kaun mujhe gale lagayega maa. Ab mai kya karu... kaha jauuuu... I miss you Aai."

For those who don't know, Jaya died at around 9 pm on January 28, 2023. She passed away at the age of 73 and had stage four endometrial cancer which had spread to the brain, lungs and liver. Rakhi made sure to visit her mom at the hospital since she was admitted. In April last year, Salman Khan and his brother, Sohail Khan provided aid for the treatment of Rakhi's mother.
