For the past few months, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen’s marriage had hit the rock bottom and rumours of their separation had been doing the rounds on social media. Charu and Rajeev had given subtle hints about troubles in their marriage and their fans were really worried about the two. However, in a recent interview, the two had talked about their separation and blamed each other for the same.
For the unversed, Charu and Rajeev had tied the knot on June 7, 2019, in Goa as per Bengali and Rajasthani rituals. In November 2021, the duo had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter, Ziana Sen. Since their wedding, Charu and Rajeev have been in the limelight for compatibility issues, leading to rumours of their split.

In an interview with BollywoodShaadis, Rajeev Sen talked about his separation from Charu Asopa. When asked about Charu’s allegation of him spreading lies about her and damaging her reputation, Rajeev denied the same and also wished things to get better between him and Charu for the sake of their daughter, Ziana. Sharing his concern for Ziana, Rajeev said:
“Everyone is innocent until proven guilty is all I can say but still hoping things get better for the sake of my daughter and my daughter Ziana does not deserve this and I clearly worry about her safety.”
In an interview with the Times of India, Charu had opened up about the speculations pertaining to her split with Rajeev. Speaking about the same, Charu had said:
“I didn’t want to talk about the problems in our marriage, but I have been forced to talk about it now because Rajeev is spreading lies about me, which is damaging to my reputation. Yes, we have taken the legal route to end the marriage and I initiated the process.”

In the same interview, Charu had stated how they had problems since the beginning of their marriage. Sharing details of the same, Charu had mentioned that she had earlier patched up with Rajeev for herself and later did it for the sake of their daughter, Ziana. Revealing the reason for their separation, Charu had said that Rajeev has trust issues and she did not want her daughter to grow up in a toxic environment.
Well, we hope Charu and Rajeev sort out their differences for the sake of Ziana!
