Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa have already been pronounced husband and wife on June 9, 2019, when they said ‘I Do’ to each other at a court marriage. Charu and Rajeev are now all set for a lavish wedding in Goa and the pre-wedding ceremonies have already begun. With an evening engagement ceremony followed by mehendi night, Charu and Rajeev’s pictures and videos are topping the trending charts on social media under the hashtag, #RajaKiBittu.
On June 14, 2019, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa got engaged in the presence of family and friends. While Charu broke the stereotypes and looked stunning in a white gown with a tulle skirt and lace detailed sleeve-corset, her groom, Rajeev complemented her in a beige blazer and dark pants. Charu accentuated her look with highlighted cheeks and side-parted open hair. But what caught our attention was huge round solitaire engagement ring, which Rajeev had slipped on her finger. On May 4, 2019, Rajeev Sen’s sister, Sushmita Sen had shared a series of photographs of his proposal to the love of his life, Charu Asopa. Revealing the wedding plans, Charu Asopa had shared earlier, "We will have a destination wedding in Goa on June 16. The theme of the wedding is ‘Royal traditional’ so everything will be in that style. Functions will be engagement on 14th, followed by sangeet and mehendi on June 15 and haldi and wedding on June 16. We are getting married in both Bengali and Rajasthani style and rituals as Rajeev is a Bengali and I am a Rajasthani."
Rajeev Sen had revealed that his sister, Sushmita Sen is also quite excited about the wedding, "In fact, she has been the one working hard for the preparations. My sister is the most excited about my wedding with Charu. She has been working very hard day and night to make things happen, as we don’t have much time at all. June 16 could only happen because of my sister, mom and dad. It’s never easy to do things at the last minute. I am very blessed."
