There is no doubt that Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra are of the most loved couples of the glamour world. Their love story had begun when the duo had met for the first time for a business meeting. After falling head-over-heels in love with one another, Shilpa and Raj had begun their forever journey in 2009.

Before marrying Shilpa, Raj had married Kavita Kundra in 2003 and they were blessed with a daughter. But after going through a lot of differences, Raj and Kavita got legally separated in 2006. Now, an old interview of Kavita has been going viral on social media, where she had blamed Shilpa for wrecking her marriage with Raj. Businessman Raj, who is now living a happy life with Shilpa, opened up about Kavita’s accusations.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Raj Kundra opened up about his divorce with Kavita. It was after Kavita had given birth to their daughter, when Raj got to know about Kavita’s infidelity. He had dropped Kavita and his 40-day old daughter at her parent’s home in India. Raj further shared it was very painful for him to say goodbye to his daughter.
Revealing how he fought for the custody of his daughter, Raj said, “I immediately moved to court to fight for custody but British laws only gave me access to meet her and take her home once a week otherwise she had to stay with the mother. For months I would travel two hours to Birmingham bring my daughter and then take her back.”
Answering whether he tried to mend his ways with Kavita for the sake of their daughter, Raj stated, “I have never spoken to Kavita and I never want to. I tried reaching out to my daughter via her family members but they couldn't get me access or straight answers.”

Stating that Kavita didn’t want him to meet their daughter, Raj continued, “I know she will come and find me when the time is right. I only saw her for her first 40 days and then I moved to India after my marriage to Shilpa. Kavita didn’t want me near my child. Courts also favoured the mother at that age.”
On November 22, 2020, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra had celebrated their 11th marriage anniversary and Shilpa had penned a sweet, 'no filter' note for her hubby. Sharing a cute selfie with Raj, Shilpa had written, "No filter LOVE. The REAL DEAL. As we complete 11 years today, I still have eyes only for you (and on you). Some things never change. What was...
