It seems that late famous actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has moved on in life. Our very own and lovely Anandi of Balika Vadhu aka Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide on April 1, 2016, and her body was found hanging in her Oshiwara apartment in Mumbai. Not only her mom, dad, friends and family, she left every fan of hers and everyone in despair. Pratyusha's suicide was then blamed against her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, who as per reports is now getting married.
Two years back, when Pratyusha passed away, Rahul had cried foul. And it seems now he has found love in actress, Saloni Sharma. Well, a few days ago, Rahul celebrated his birthday and shared a few pictures from birthday bash on his official Instagram account. In the caption, he not just made it his relationship official with Saloni but also revealed that they are getting married soon. In the caption, Rahul praised Saloni and thanked her for being there through thick and thin. Introducing Saloni as his wife-to-be, Rahul Raj captioned this post as, "It has been a long year for me...one which had many ups and downs..several highs and several lows....but like they say...what does not kill u...only makes you stronger...on my Birthday today...I would like to wish every single person who came,who wished me,who called and messaged,and even those who didn't!! Thanks so much!! And of course A Very Happy Birthday to Me!!! 1This is my year and I will come out with positivity and hopefully with a lot of success! A special thanks to my dear Saloni Sharma@onlysimkie...my soon to be wife and partner for life...u have been there when no one could!! Loved all the surprises!! Not just this, in fact, Saloni arranged a cake on which the birthday message read as, 'Happy Birthday Hubby.’ For the ones who don’t know, after Pratyusha’s death, Rahul was blamed for cheating on her with Saloni. Nonetheless, the actor denied any such thing and claimed Saloni to be a good friend back then.
Before Pratyusha came into his life, he was already with Saloni, but they were not sure if it was love or just friendship. On this note, he was quoted as saying, “I loved her and she loved me, and it was a bit of situation where I was unable to decide whether yeh pyaar hai ya dosti. Around that time, I met Pratyusha at Sara Khan's party. After that, I soon met her again at a Kishwer Merchant party. The next thing I knew is that Pratyusha had given a statement in the media that 'Rahul Raj Singh is the man in my life'. I was quite taken aback. Saloni flew into a rage and things got ugly between us. On being further probed to tell if he reasoned with Saloni about it, he said, “Of course, I did. But you know how it is when one is furious. The person is just not ready to listen. We were fighting on the phone, we were fighting in malls. Around that time, I was in despair. I leaned on Pratyusha's shoulder. And she leaned on mine too. She had gone devoid of all her savings, courtesy her parents. She really loved me and showed so much of respect towards me. Slowly but surely, we fell in love. We were together for about 10 months before the unfortunate incident happened. About a month before she passed away, we had started staying together.”
Well, if Rahul Raj Singh and Saloni Sharma have decided to tie the knot, we wish them all the luck and happiness!
