Social media was buzzing with the wedding festivities of Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar for almost a week now. From the day they had announced their marriage date to their sangeet night post-wedding, the social media had turned into #TheDisHulWedding. Their love story had started when the separation between them due to Bigg Boss 14 house had made them realise their feelings for each other, and now, they are happily married.
Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya had shared the first-ever picture from their wedding on July 17, 2021, on their IG handles. In the photo, Disha and Rahul were performing their wedding rituals during phere. The newlyweds had mentioned their wedding date, "16.07.2021", in the caption.

Rahul and Disha’s wedding functions have come to an end, and the newlyweds got the time to spend with each other. Taking to her IG stories, Disha shared an adorable Boomerang, where Rahul can be seen giving a peck on his wife's cheeks as the two twinned their night suits. Both Rahul and Disha wore red night suits with ‘RKV’ embroidered on Rahul’s shirt and ‘DRV’ written on Disha’s shirt. Disha wrote, “Hello Husband! @rahulvaidyarkv” atop it. Reposting the same, Rahul had written, “Wifey”, followed by a heart emoticon.
Before their wedding functions, on July 11, 2021, Rahul and Disha had got their hands-impression by Bhavna Jasra, who is known for curating hand and feet castings. Bhavna had shared a video of the couple getting their hands-impression on her IG handle. In the video, Rahul could be seen singing, Tere haath mein mera haath ho for his then-fiancee, Disha. Alongside it, Bhavna had written, "And he sings a song for her."

Recalling their cutesy proposal, it was inside the Bigg Boss 14 house that Rahul had realised his feelings for Disha and accepting them, had proposed a wedding to her. He had said, "Today is a very special day for me. There’s a girl in my life, and that that girl’s name is Disha Parmar. God! I have never been so nervous. I don’t know why it took me so much time to ask you – Will you marry me?"
It was on the Valentine’s Day special Weekend Ka Vaar episode of BB 14 that Disha Parmar had come to the reality show to accept Rahul Vaidya’s proposal. Disha and Rahul had met through a glass wall in between them and dancing on the dhol, Disha had said, “Yes, I will marry you!” in response to Rahul’s wedding proposal. The two had also kissed through the thin glass wall.
