The brain behind MTV Roadies and MTV Splitsvilla, Raghu Ram became second time lucky in love and now is all set to tie the knot with an Italian-Canadian singer, Natalie Di Luccio. Raghu was earlier married to Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na fame, Sugandha Garg, but they ended their 10-year-long-marriage on amicable terms in 2016. Recently, Raghu confirmed his wedding with Natalie and shared that they are all set to become life partners real soon. Raghu shared a caricature on his Instagram handle, wherein, he is dressed as a groom in a sherwani, and Natalie is dressed up in a white gown. Informing about his upcoming wedding, Raghu captioned the pic as, “December 2018” followed by a heart emoji.
The pre-wedding festivities have finally kicked in for Raghu and Natalie, in Goa. Starting with a cocktail night, mehendi and haldi ceremonies, Raghu and Natalie’s pre-wedding festivities are going on in full swing. Some pictures of the soon-to-be-married couple went viral on social media, and we can’t help but drool over the photographs. On August 04, 2018, Raghu and Natalie got engaged in Toronto, Canada. Sharing their proposal moment on respective Instagram handles, Natalie captioned the pic as, “That time he went down on his knee, I said yes. @instaraghu #SouthAfrica #TableMountain #InTheClouds #ISaidYes”, while Raghu wrote, “Once upon a time, inside Cloud 9, She said yes”. Before Raghu and Natalie, their close friend, Teejay Sidhu and her husband, Karanvir Bohra announced that the former couple is engaged. Teejay and Karanvir attended their engagement ceremony in Canada and sharing a picture with the couple, Teejay wrote, “The main reason we were in Toronto - to see two of our dearest friends get engaged. Raghu - You have always been one of the people I love most - so sweet, so kind, so intelligent, and so funny (especially at 8 am!! If anyone deserves happiness, it's you and I'm so glad you found it with Natalie. (Aren't Canadians awesome?) You guys are so great together! Biggest hug ever to you. @instaraghu @nataliediluccio”.
In an earlier interview with Mumbai Mirror, Raghu confirmed the December wedding and shared, “The wedding is scheduled for mid-December and will be chaotic, nothing grand but something fun with family and friends. More than a wedding, it’s a celebration of us coming together.” Raghu also shared that December wedding was Natalie’s idea and he was happy to agree.
Raghu further stated that his brother, Rajiv has been busy coordinating with the wedding arrangements and their sister, Supriya flew down from Singapore to help them out. “Besides the two weddings, there will be a lot of singing, dancing and games. “If we do the wedding right, I will have no memory of it, so, the idea is to have so much of everything that no one remembers anything.”
Revealing in an interview that his ex-wife, Sugandha was the first one to know about Natalie, Raghu was quoted as saying, “Sugandha was the first one to know about Natalie from me. She said that if she had to pick a girl for me it would be her. They've had many conversations behind my back. I am sure Sugandha has given some advice on the dos and don'ts with me. She also told me about the mistakes I should avoid making this time.”
Raghu introduced Natalie as the love of his life on social media in March 2018, wherein he expressed his feelings and wrote, “@nataliediluccio you once told me that you needed to believe in Magic. Well, here’s your proof. You walked into my life a year ago today... and impossibly, everything inside me changed! I feel Love. I feel Happiness. I feel Hope. I feel. Again. All because of you! It has been a beautiful year of Love, Laughter & Adventure. Happy anniversary, baby! Keep believing in Magic. And that Happily Ever After is now.
