The year 2020 has been a life-changing one for television actors, Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma. From announcing their court marriage to hopping on their parenthood journey, the couple has been through many happy and mind-blowing moments. However, Puja and Kunal wanted to get married in a grand way.
For the unversed, Puja and Kunal were going to tie the knot on April 15, 2020. But with the coronavirus outbreak in the world and the lockdown that followed with it, made them cancel all their ceremonies. But on the same day, Puja had shared a throwback picture with the love of her life, Kunal and had announced the news of their registered marriage, which had happened in March 2020.

On November 11, 2021, Puja took to her Instagram handle and posted a cute 'Save The Date' announcement. In the photo, we can see the duo posing in traditional wear. Alongside it, Puja wrote, "Yay, finally." Check it out below:
Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Puja had shared the thought behind their decision of announcing their marriage. The actress had said that they wanted to get married in a grand affair as they were waiting eagerly for it to happen. However, the pandemic ruined their plan.

Puja had further opened up on their registered marriage. She had revealed that they wanted to finish the formalities before she could begin the shoot of her new show. She had said:
"Actually, when we registered for marriage like a month ago, we considered the time we would need to go through the process as it takes time for marriage to get registered at court and we wanted to do it before I start working on my new show as later I wouldn't get the time. We finished the formalities before I started shooting and we were supposed to have a grand affair on April 15. "
Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma had welcomed their first child on October 9, 2020.
