Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma had fallen in love with each other on the sets of their show, Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna. After dating for nine years, the couple had exchanged rings in 2017 and two and a half years later, Puja and Kunal had decided to take their wedding vows in a grand ceremony. However, some professional commitments had postponed their plans, and later, in April 2020, when the couple had planned to tie the knot in a traditional Bengali ceremony, the pandemic had ruined their plans again. Later, in April 2020, Puja and Kunal had announced that they were pronounced husband and wife after a registered court marriage in February 2020.

Four months into their marriage, Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma had announced that they’re expecting their first child. Puja and Kunal had embraced parenthood on October 9, 2020, and had welcomed their little bundle of joy, Krishiv Verma. Two months after the birth of their son, Puja had posted a picture, holding her baby boy and another one with Kunal, playing with the little one. Sharing the two pictures, Puja had announced the name of her son in the caption, which could be read as “Hare KRISHNA Om namah SHIVAY Meet our son KRISHIV VERMA @kunalrverma.”
It is indeed a tedious task for parents to raise their child and especially in a world that is addicted to technologies. Taking to her IG handle, Puja shared a video, where she can be seen feeding her son, Krishiv as her husband, Kunal danced for him to help the mommy. Puja shared that they always wanted to keep their kid away from phones and TV and thus, Kunal usually dances for his son so that he finishes his food. Sharing the cute family video, Puja wrote, “We always wanted to keep our baby away from phones and iPads and TV as much as possible and we decided to give our 100percent and make as many efforts we can to make it happen. Thanks to papa @kunalrverma for dancing for him and he just loves looking at papa dancing and this how make him eat most of the times. Pls give ur child as much time u can give. #krishiv.”
Ever since the birth of their son, Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma are cherishing every milestone of their little one’s life and have been making it special and baby Krishiv’s annaprashan ceremony was no different. Puja and Kunal had performed the annaprashan ceremony of their little one as per Bengali rituals and Krishiv had looked adorable in a golden kurta and red dhoti with floral accessories adding to his cuteness. Kunal had posted a video and had written, “Here’a a glimpse of our baby’s aanaprashan (rice ceremony) mamma papa giving blessing to our SON (krishiv ) it’s surreal giving blessing to this gem of ours thanku god for this moment .. THANK YOU.” Puja had captioned her post as “Ajke amader chele krishiv er onnoprashon chilo. Apnara shobay aashirwaad deben.”

It was on January 12, 2021, when Puja and Kunal had revealed the face of their little goofball for the first time ever. Baby Krishiv had completed three months, and the parents had officially shared his pictures. In the picture, the family of three had looked adorable. Krishiv was sitting in his mommy's lap, in blue jeans and a white t-shirt. Mommy, Puja was holding Krishiv and daddy, Kunal could be seen sitting next to Puja.
