After international sensation, Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ fun-filled Udaipur wedding on December 01-02, 2018, her ‘baby brother’, Siddharth Chopra is all set to mount horseback soon and make his fiancée, Ishita Kumar, his forever. But just when we thought that Ishita will be prepping for her rumoured upcoming wedding, she posted pictures of herself recovering from painful surgery. To give you all a little background, it was on February 2018, when pictures from Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ brother, Siddharth Chopra’s roka-cum-engagement ceremony to his beautiful lady had started to pop in. Dressed in a beautiful pink sharara with a flower tucked in one side of her hair and Siddharth donning a white bandhagala and churidaar, this duo had looked like a match made straight out of heaven! Sharing a picture from their do, Ishita had written, “Can't stop smiling looking at him”, backed by a heart emoji.
On April 13, 2019, Ishita Kumar had taken to Instagram and posted a couple of pictures from her fun-filled bridal shower, which she celebrated with her close friends and family in London. Rumours have also been rife that Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ brother, Siddharth Chopra and his soon-to-be-wife, Ishita Kumar are all set to enter the bond of holy matrimony this week, in New Delhi. Ishita had shared an array of pictures on her Instagram handle and had written, “Last night was so much fun. Thank you for making it so special. Can't believe it I'm getting married #bridalshower.”
While we were expecting more pictures of Ishita Kumar enjoying the last few days as a bachelor and probably some from her pre-wedding festivities too, the beauty took to Instagram only recently and posted two pictures straight from the hospital which suggested that she has just undergone a painful surgery and is recovering from it. Sharing pictures of blood bottles and bandages on her tummy, Ishita wrote, “Recovering from surgery. Very recently, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was spotted and captured by the shutterbugs at the airport, when she had landed in India, which only added to our assumptions that there are high chances that a marriage is on the cards for the Chopra family. Coming back to Siddharth Chopra and Ishita Kumar’s roka ceremony, the latter’s doting nanad had posted a heartfelt post, congratulating the newly rokafied couple in February 2019. Sharing a picture of Siddharth and Ishita, Priyanka had written, “So proud of my baby brother. Ishita welcome to the family...you are so beautiful together...I wish you both the best for the future! Not just a heartfelt wish, Ishita Kumar’s welcome in the family was also done in the most special way by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her prince, Nick Jonas. The one which had caught our maximum fancy had a beautiful note written by Ishita’s nanad and nandoi, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas and the other picture had the package of gifts, wrapped in white and golden. Speaking about the sibling relationship that she and Siddharth Chopra share, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had stated in a throwback interview with the Hindustan Times, “We have grown up squabbling and fighting as most siblings do. He is the younger one technically, and so, I did my duty as the older sibling and bullied him mercilessly. But no matter what I did, he would be there for me, with a smile on his face and love in his eyes. I think the strength of the bond that we share is tremendous. A lot is unsaid between us, but we know that no matter what, we’ll always be there for each other. We used to do a lot of masti (fun). I was the ‘general in command’, and Siddharth was my willing sidekick.”
