Everyone is super excited these days for two big celeb weddings are lined up in the next 20 days! Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are all set to take their relationship to the next level when they would tie the nuptial knot on December 02, 2018, in Jodhpur. However, initially, their wedding was supposed to take place early in the year. We’ll get to that later. After months of speculations, Priyanka and Nick had their roka ceremony on August 18, 2018. Post the ceremony, PeeCee and her beau shared the following picture, and Priyanka lovingly captioned it, “Taken... With all my heart and soul.” and Nick worded it as, “Future Mrs Jonas. My heart. My love.”
Now, we all know that Priyanka and Nick are getting married on December 02, 2018. But a news report has claimed that this date is a delayed date, and that the couple was supposed to get married earlier this year. Entertainment Tonight has reported a source saying, “Priyanka and Nick were planning to get married early next year, but it now looks like they may tie the knot by the end of 2018”.
The report could further be read as, “Since day one, Priyanka and Nick have clicked and have never taken their relationship slow. The couple got engaged two months after dating, they've met each other’s families and had a bridal shower and bachelorette party in a very short period of time. For Priyanka and Nick, they know that they love one another and are going to be married, so they don't see the appeal in waiting too long”.
Well, as they say, time and age are just numbers if there is love. And we are so glad that it’s finally happening. Confirming their wedding venue, a recent media report suggested, “Nick and Priyanka were recently in India and had even gone to Jodhpur. That was when they decided the gorgeous Umaid Bhawan to be their dream wedding venue. They will have a limited guest list of 200 people with only their close friends and family in attendance. Since a lot of their Hollywood friends are settled in New York, PC is quite excited to have her bridal shower there followed by a grand wedding in Jodhpur”.
And another report detailed out the pre-wedding functions itinerary, “The wedding will take place on December 1 and the three-day long functions will include Sangeet and Mehndi on November 29 and 30. They have a select guest list of 200, including relatives and close friends. The authorities have been strictly asked not to entertain any queries. Recently, Priyanka had a blast during her bridal shower on October 28, 2018. She shared the following snaps from the rocking party and captioned them as, “Love, laughter and a room full of amazing ladies...and some special gentlemen (what a special surprise)! Thank you so much @mubinarattonsey and @anjula_acharia for throwing me such a memorable bridal shower that broke all the rules! My amazing friends and family who made me feel so special and loved, thank you. And to top it off @tiffanyandco. Perfect! Here’s sharing it with you”.
Talking to USA Today, Nick opened up about his relationship with PeeCee, and shared, “You have to be honest with your other half. That’s where the beauty of a real relationship is, being able to be your authentic self. I have that in my life now.” He further stated, “It’s really about trying to keep as much time as you can for yourselves. Not letting the outside world penetrates the world that you create for each other, or the world with your family and friends and your inner circle”.
Speaking of family, Priyanka has completely jelled in with the Jonas family. A few days ago, she posted a picture with Nick‘s sister-in-law and Game of Thrones star, Sophie Turner, and wrote, “The morning after...#TheJSisters #Bachelorette @sophiet”. Priyanka’s mother-in-law commented on the pic, “I know how to fix that!”
In fact, even Priyanka’s mom, Madhu Chopra once spoke reverently of her son-in-law, Nick and was quoted as saying, “Nick is calm and mature. He’s a wonderful person and everyone in the family just loves him. He’s so polite and respectful towards elders. What more can a mother want!”
Priyanka and Nick have often been trolled on social media because of their age difference, for she is 36 and he is 26. Commenting on the same, a source earlier told a media house, “Nick loves dating older women, and if anything, it makes Priyanka even more attractive to him. Nick has been obsessed with Priyanka since they started dating. He obviously thinks she’s beautiful, but he’s also drawn to her intelligence. She has this charisma and energy that draws you to her, and she’s fit in so well with his friends and family”.
