After their engagement, people are waiting for their wedding like how. And guess what? Media reports are suggesting that they will get married by the end of this year. A source revealed to a media portal, “Both Priyanka and Nick wanted an intimate affair, away from the paparazzi and Hawaii seems to be the perfect destination for that. Besides, the islands of Hawaii are extremely special for Nick as he has shot for both Hawaii Five 0 and Jumanji there. He also loves the ocean. So, this choice comes as no surprise”.
Wow! Could there have been a better exotic location of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' wedding? The two are head over heels in love with each other and their pics which surface on social media is a proof of that. Initially, when the reports of the two dating each other started doing rounds, PeeCee was trolled for dating a guy younger to her. Priyanka is 36 and Nick is 25.
But a source revealed to a media portal that Nick Jonas has a good knack for the older women and gets attracted to them more. It was reported, “Nick loves dating older women, and if anything, it makes Priyanka even more attractive to him. Nick has been obsessed with Priyanka since they started dating. He obviously thinks she’s beautiful, but he’s also drawn to her intelligence. She has this charisma and energy that draws you to her, and she’s fit in so well with his friends and family”. It was also reported that Priyanka and Nick got engaged on her 36th birthday on July 17, 2018, in London. And the duo made it official on August 18, exactly a month later. The very first time ever when Priyanka fully acknowledged her relationship was after her roka ceremony. She posted the following picture on social media and wrote, “Taken.. With all my heart and soul”.
After all this, we can’t wait for their wedding anymore. Speaking of Nickyanka’s (as fans affectionately call them) marriage, Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra revealed in an interview, “My daughter knew I wanted a roka before the marriage, so she never said ‘no’. I haven’t forced any of my thoughts on her, but I definitely want a traditional Indian wedding. That’s my only wish. I started the roka with a puja, which is important for me. I’m a modern mother but at heart, I’m quite conservative”.
In fact, when probed about their wedding, Madhu responded, “They haven’t decided on a wedding date yet. It’s too soon. These are just baseless rumours. Both of them have work commitments right now which they need to finish. They will take some time to decide where they want it and when they want it”. She was also all-praises for her would-be son-in-law and said, “Nick is calm and mature. He’s a wonderful person and everyone in the family just loves him. He’s so polite and respectful towards elders. What more can a mother want!”
After Priyanka and her family had hosted Nick in India earlier, a media person had asked Madhu about her beti and Nick’s marriage and she had replied, “Aap kitne serious ho”, to which the journalist had replied, “hum toh hai” and she then had retorted, “Aap serious ho toh hum bhi serious ho jaayenge”.
Revealing about Nick and Priyanka’s relationship, an online tabloid had earlier reported, “They’re very happy. It’s getting serious. It’s a huge deal that Nick brought Priyanka to his cousin’s wedding. He’s dated a lot over the last couple years, but it’s never been anything serious, so this is a big step”.
