Bollywood’s desi girl, Priyanka Chopra became Mrs Jonas as she married international singing sensation, Nick Jonas on December 1-2, 2018. As much as their wedding created a stir on social media, their pictures that kept floating in made everyone go ‘aww’. The lovebirds, PeeCee and Nick, made their relationship official on August 18, 2018, as this was the day they had an intimate roka ceremony in Mumbai. It was in 2017, at the Met Gala red carpet, the duo fell for each other and started having hots for one another. Do you know who played the Cupid between the two? Well, it was none other than Priyanka Chopra’s Quantico co-star, Graham Rogers. A source then told a leading daily, “They are so happy. His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her.”
It further stated, “People are saying it’s a great match because they’re both so talented and understand the industry. Priyanka knows how to have fun, but there’s also a gravitas to her. The same goes for Nick. He’s serious but has a great sense of humour.”
Now that Priyanka and Nick are a happily married couple, they are enjoying every bit of their marital life. The two are back home in Los Angeles from their dreamy Europe and the Caribbean honeymoon. It is the right time that the couple is all set to start their life in real earnest. The duo, as per reports, will be living in their $6.5 mansion in LA’s tony Beverly Hills, which happens to be a gift for her from Nick. With People magazine, Priyanka gave her first interview post-marriage. Talking about the most emotional moment from her wedding, PeeCee remarked, "It was all tears. All tears. I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life." Adding on further, the Quantico actress said, "Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day. But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be. Being able to have two big weddings, in India, with our closest family and friends was unbelievably special. I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up. We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us. It’s been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way." On a chat show named, The Daily Show, Nick opened up about his relationship and revealed why he felt she is the ‘one’ for him. The singer was then quoted as saying, "So many things. I could go into all of it and get all mushy but, I think the thing that really connected both of us is our love for family and faith and the importance of being connected to those who are always going to be there for you. We found that in each other as well, which is a beautiful thing. I'm excited to start our life together."
