The day is not very far when Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s relationship will be a synonym of the terms ‘couple goal’. With just the first picture from their roka ceremony, it seemed like the world skipped a beat and their colour-coordinated outfits on the occasion made us gush over them even more. And post getting ‘rokafied’, Priyanka and Nick are spotted on their mini-vacations, spending quality time with each other, which needless to say is enough to make us go green with envy. After spending quality time in the lap of mountains, Nick and Priyanka attended the US Open with their entire family. Priyanka and Nick along with Madhu Chopra, Joe Jonas and his fiancée Sophie Turner spend the day at the U.S. Open cheering for tennis star, Serena Williams. Later, the couples were spotted on a double dinner date.
While Nick sported black pants and a grey sweatshirt, his fiancée wore a tight white Fendi dress and white heels. The newly-engaged couple, Nick and Priyanka walked hand-in-hand as they came out of the restaurant. Nick shared a Boomerang video in his Insta story, and wrote atop of it, "Let's go @serenawilliams". Priyanka shared pictures from their outing and captioned it, “It’s a #famjam at the #usopen @nickjonas @sophiet @joejonas @madhumalati”.
On September 3, 2018, i.e., the Labor Day, Priyanka and Nick went for a weekend getaway at one of his favourite getaways, Mammoth Mountain, California. Nick shared a picture of himself, holding a can of beer in his hand and he can be seen admiring the beautiful view. Captioning the picture of himself gazing at the mountains, Nick wrote, “A man and the mountains. @priyankachopra”. In an interview sometime back, Nick opened up about his relationship with Priyanka and shared, “We met through a mutual friend who she did Quantico with, this guy Graham and we met up like in New York the first time and the same day I think we found out that we are both going to the MET gala with Ralph Lauren. And as strange as it sounds but we couldn't have planned it. We just had a great time. She's a lovely person and I'm dying now to go to India”. Popular international media portal, People.com quoted our Desi Girl, Priyanka as saying, “We’re getting to know each other, and I think it [coming to India] was a great experience for him”.
DJ Khushi, who was assigned the task of spinning the disc at the traditional roka ceremony of Priyanka and Nick talked about the couple. He said, “Nick Jonas is more Indian than American. He was such a sport and was letting his lady lead the way throughout the celebrations. Both of them make such a beautifully co-ordinated couple and their sense of music is pretty much similar.” His statement could be further read as, “Friends and families danced on songs by Cardi B and Drake. In Bollywood numbers, songs like ‘Ban ja rani’ and ‘Bom diggy diggy’ and of course the biggest wedding song in the country – ‘Gallan goodiyaan’, which is a song from Priyanka’s movie, were a big hit. I was given a mandate of keeping the mood energetic and breezy. On the work front, Priyanka is shooting for Shonali Bose film, The Sky is Pink, opposite Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. She will also be seen with Chris Pratt in her next Hollywood project, Cowboy Ninja Viking.
