MTV Splistvilla, Roadies and Bigg Boss 11 fame, Priyank Sharma has been in news for his personal life and it’s been quite sometime now. Whether it was his relationship with Divya Agarwal, or break-up with her or even his infatuation towards Benafsha Soonawalla, all of it happened in front of the camera when he was on air. He is one amongst those actors who had a very complicated love life. And today, rumours are abuzz that he might be dating Ben (as he lovingly calls her).
In an interaction with a famous online portal, Priyank had opened up about his relationship with Ben and had stated, “You know what! I have just started keeping quiet on all such matters. People keep linking me with some or the other girl. So, I would just say: Keep guessing because I have stopped sharing my personal life. Yes, I have made it a question mark for everyone." Adding further, he had stated, "With my past experience, I have realised that I should not talk about my private life. In fact, I was a true believer of this till I did Splitsvilla, where fans got to see my love angle (Divya Agarwal). But other then that, I have never spoken about my personal life. If you see my Roadies audition also, I never revealed my girlfriend's name till the time the fans and media found out.”
Recently, Priyank appeared on Kicthen Champion hosted by famous television actor, Arjun Bijlani. On the show, Priyank came with his mother and close friends, Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal. A day ago, Priyank had shared a mini clip from the show, wherein we could see his mother complaining about his girlfriends. When Arjun asked, “Apko kabhi kabhi difficulty nahin hoti aunty choice karne mein, ye itni sari ladkiyon ko ghar lata hai, khana wana khilata hai.” To which, Priyank’s mother instantly replied and had said, “Bahut difficulty hoti hain. Mian to balki isko kehti hu ki ye sab nahin chalega ghar mein. Koi ladki ghar mein nahin aani chahiye.” Here’s the video clip, checkout:
A few days back, Priyank took to his official Instagram handle and shared a few clicks from the show. Along with them, he had written, “Once upon a time she came inside big boss house to rejuvenate her son on the same channel and then THIS happened yesterday after one year . HAPPY WOMEN’s DAY maa ! In a media interaction, Priyank talked about his equation with Benafsha and had remarked, “Benafsha and me are doing great. The bond between us is very strong. But think of it, main bahut logon ko date kar raha hun logon ke hisaab se.” On the other hand, the Ace of Space host, Vikas Gupta, who also happens to be a close friend to Ben and Priyank, confirmed their relationship. Vikas was quoted as saying, "Benafsha Soonawalla will definitely support Priyank Sharma because they are dating each other." And added, “I feel they have accepted it and somewhere they have not. Again they might not be dating, I don’t know (laughs).”
Further, Vikas went on to comment on the strange love angle between Priyank, Divya, Benafsha and Varun Sood. The former Bigg Boss 11 mastermind had retorted, “Never wanted this topic to be discussed on this show, but somehow it kept coming up. As things happened, after Divya broke down, Priyank shared an open letter on social media, she said something again, the actor responded – matters snowballed. However, in all of this, I never took Benafsha’s name even though she too jumped into this situation. Of late, Benafsha’s mother too was contacted to comment if ever Divya’s family has contacted her. She was quoted as saying, “They have never contacted me. I don't know them at all. Parents don't always come into the picture when children are above 18. But since you've called, what I would like to say is that my daughter Benafsha and Priyank have been good friends even before Bigg Boss days. Benafsha comes across as someone who lives in the US. Her style is quite Westernised, which the Indian culture does not accept. Benafsha does not understand that she is in India, but she has no love feelings for Priyank. They may be friends and she might be even taking advice from him. But they are definitely not romantically involved.
