The ultimate reality shows winner, Prince Narula had met the love of his life, Yuvika Chaudhary for the first time inside the Bigg Boss house. Though he was inclined towards Yuvika inside the house, Yuvika had rejected his proposal. Later, as destiny had it, the two had tied the knot on October 12, 2018, in a big fat Punjabi wedding, which was a star-studded affair. Prince and Yuvika have always been open about their relationship and have been sharing their lovey-dovey pictures on social media handles.
Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary’s chemistry inside the Bigg Boss house was much talked about. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Yuvika had talked about her initial reaction after Prince had confessed his feelings for her and had said, “We were strangers inside the Bigg Boss house. While Prince developed a strong liking for me at the beginning of our stay, I wanted to take some time. We fell in love much after the show ended. On October 11, 2019, Yuvika Chaudhary took to her Instagram handle and shared pictures from her parent’s house. In the picture, the couple can be seen performing an arti to commemorate their first wedding anniversary (12 October). Prince is looking dapper in a white-coloured kurta-pyjama and to give her husband a contrasting company, Yuvika opted for a multi-coloured dress. Yuvika’s brother, Rajnish Singh also took to his Instagram stories and posted pictures with the couple of the hour. Take a look at the pictures shared by Yuvika and Rajnish:
Yuvika feels that Prince and she were destined to be together and feels that Prince's feelings were genuine for her inside the house. She had also revealed that his mother had taken his rishta while he was still inside the house. She had added further, “However, his feelings were genuine. He would often tell me that I should talk more, as he feared that I wouldn’t last for long on the show (laughs!). We are one of those few jodis whose love blossomed on the reality show. In fact, I was all set to fly off to New York for a course and changed my plans just a day prior to entering the house. Also, I had been declining their offer almost every season. I was taken by surprise when his mother came to my family with his rishta when he was still inside the house. So, in a way, Prince and I were destined to be together. I tell him jokingly that he came to Mumbai for me.”
In an interview with BollywoodLife, Yuvika Chaudhary had confessed that the head-over-heels in love couple had a huge fight just a day before Prince had proposed her for marriage. She had revealed, “We were fighting like mad until yesterday. I had no clue he was secretly planning to propose to me because he was behaving so weird in the past few days. He was arguing on silly things, initiating random fights. So, I was like okay then I don’t see a future with you, I think we are not meant to be together. But despite saying this, Prince refused to calm down. Instead, he too seconded my thoughts and was like Ya I think our relationship is going nowhere…we should end it. I was shocked to see this side of Prince. Proving everyone wrong that reality show romances don’t last long, Prince had proposed Yuvika for the wedding and this is how the latter had reacted, “Propose kiya tha, I didn't know meri life bhi actually aisi hone wali hai. I thought TRP ke liye thoda kar raha hai yeh. But, I think jab aap, dil se kuch bolte ho, kayi baar upar wala baith ke aapki life likh raha hota hai, toh aisa hi kuch mere saath hua and you can see this is for real." In a throwback interview with the Times Now, Prince had talked about the statements that reality show couples fake their love and they part their ways soon after the show gets over. He had said, “I had done few reality shows before I met Yuvika and have heard people say that couples on reality shows do not work. But if your love is true then your relationship will work and you can spend the rest of your life with her." He had further added, "Like I did. I told myself that whatever I do, I am not going to leave her."
Yuvika Chaudhary had confessed that it was Prince's love that had changed her mind towards their love story. She had said, “First of all, when we came out of the house, we were friends. And in the house, Prince had some hope but when I didn't respond, he thought that I have some issues with him and I will never say yes. He was sure from day one and I, like any other girl, was taking time. I was never in that frame of mind - the first date and then I will see. I was scared whether I should take a step ahead or not. It was his love and faith that changed me. I am a very practical person, he is someone who thinks from his heart - whatever he says he does that.”
Even before they tied the knot, Prince had changed his official Instagram name to Prince Yuvika Narula and had tattooed Yuvika’s name on his back. Talking about the same, in an interview with The Times Of India, Prince had revealed, “I changed my handle in March; it’s just that people noticed it only recently. Why should only women change their names after marriage? I am the other half in this relationship. Also, I fell in love with her first and so, I should contribute equally if not more. I didn’t add her name to mine for publicity. In fact, I got her name inked on the back of my neck in February.
