Prabhas Rao is a big name in Tollywood, and he has been in the industry for many decades. The actor had made his debut with the film, Eshwar in 2002. He has worked in many South Indian movies. Later, he had bagged the movie, Varsham in 2004 and had acted in movies like Chatrapathi, Chakram, Billa, Mr Perfect and Mirchi. Prabhas Rao’s net worth in 2021 is around $27 million, which is approximately Rs.196 crores in the Indian currency.
South India’s heartthrob, Prabhas, is a well-known face even in Bollywood ever since his super hit films, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, had held the audience rapt with attention. Prabhas had played a wonderful role in the film, and his acting skills had garnered him a lot of appreciation. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, it is being stated that Prabhas is now the highest-paid actor in India. The actor has the widest possible reach all over India and has a lot of films in his kitty. A source privy to the actor was quoted as saying:
"Bhushan Kumar is amongst the biggest producers of Bollywood today and he is looking to make the biggest of the films in the post-pandemic world. And hence, he is teaming up not only with a Bollywood actor, but someone who has the widest possible reach pan India - Prabhas. His presence gives Bhushan and his team the liberty to make films without being bothered much about the budgets. He is supremely excited to take things to the next level with Radhe Shyam, Adipurush and Spirit."
The report further stated that it is not an easy task for someone to get the opportunity to do back-to-back films with Prabhas. Moreover, the actor is charging hefty amounts for his collaborations as he is being paid Rs. 150 crores for his upcoming films, Adipurush, and Spirit. Talking about the same, the source added:
"Working with Prabhas is a matter of prestige today given his unparalleled stardom. The actor has reportedly charged Rs. 150 crores flat to be a part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit, and with this, he has emerged as the highest-paid actor of India today. He got Rs. 150 crores for Adipurush as well. He is the third actor in the last 10 years to be paid upwards of Rs. 100 crores after Salman Khan (who got Rs. 100 crores plus for Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai) and Akshay Kumar (who started charging Rs. 100 crores from Bell Bottom)."

However, apart from his professional life, Prabhas often hits the headlines for his personal life. If reports are to be believed, Prabhas is dating his Baahubali co-star, Anushka Shetty, for some years now. However, the two have always denied all these reports and speculations about them being in a relationship. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Anushka Shetty had talked about the core and the biggest reason behind her and Prabhas' relationship rumours in media. She had said:
"We are usually linked up because both of us are not married and make an amazing on-screen pair. Had there been anything between both of us, it would have been out by this time."
Moreover, there have been numerous rumours about Prabhas and Anushka looking for a house in Los Angeles. However, in the same interview, Prabhas had continued:
"I don't know how these things come up. I think people want me to have some affair or at least tell them that this is the girl I like. Otherwise, they are going to link me up with someone."
On the professional front, Prabhas will be featuring in the film, Radhe Shyam, which is slated to release on January 14, 2022.
