Pooja Batra's life has been full of ups and downs. She stepped into the world of glamour at a young age. In 1993, she rose to fame as the 'Liril girl' when she appeared in a soap advertisement. In the same year, she was crowned Miss India Asia Pacific. In a short period of time, Pooja climbed the ladder of success and won many hearts. However, when she was at the top, she left her acting career to get married to a doctor. On October 27, 1975, Pooja Batra was born to an army colonel, Ravi Batra and his wife, Neelam Batra. She hailed from Ludhiana, Punjab. Not many know that in school, she was an athlete and competed in the 200 and 400-meter dash. Interestingly, Pooja's mother, Neelam was a Miss India (1971) participant, and it is clear that Pooja's love for the glamour world was ignited due to her mother.

Pooja left the entire world in awe with her beauty when she was crowned as the third runner-up at 1993's Miss Aisa Pacific at the age of eighteen. She was also crowned Miss India in the same year. Soon, she became a renowned face on the ramp and a leading model of those times. She participated in more than 250 modelling shows and ad campaigns.
Pooja was taking up modelling projects while she was studying. After she had completed her education, she signed her first film, Virasat. She acted in more than twenty films including Haseena Maan Jayegi, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story, and many more.
It was in 2002 when Pooja tied the knot with a doctor, Sonu S.Ahluwalia, who was living in California. According to media reports, Pooja left her glorious Bollywood career and shifted to Los Angeles, California. However, after nine years of living together, Pooja parted ways from Sonu in the year 2011.

Pooja walked out of her married in the year 2011. Rumours were rife that Pooja and Sonu started having disputes over embracing parenthood. Apparently, Sonu wanted children, and Pooja didn't as she thought it would affect her figure. The rumours further state that Pooja wanted to make a career in Hollywood. The reports also stated Sonu bought her a lovely home, and a swanky car and was paying for her acting and make-up classes for years.
Pooja Batra found love again in her forties. She fell head over heels in love with Nawab Shah. After dating for some time, the couple had a hush-hush wedding in Delhi on July 4, 2019. We still remember how Pooja had announced her love for Nawab in an Instagram post and called him her soulmate, and ever since their every picture made us believe that there is no right timing for love.
It won't be wrong to say Pooja Batra is an inspiration for many women out there. She is super fit and never misses a chance to flaunt her hot figure.
