Bollywood actress, Pooja got famous for her role in Anil Kapoor's film, Virasat in the '90s and she had made every heart flutter with her gorgeous look. She is also a winner of Miss Femina India Internation in the year 1993. However, destiny played another game and she left her amazing career in Bollywood for the love of an NRI orthopedic surgeon, Dr Sonu S. Ahluwalia. But after eleven years of happily ever, the two got divorced due to unreconcilable issues.
Well, Pooja might have left the world of glam and glitz, but it is her personal life that remains in the highlight. The latest buzz is the actress has found love again in Nawab Shah, who plays character role and has worked in the film, Tiger Zinda Hai. Her Instagram feed is the testimony of their blooming romance. And in one such picture, shared by Pooja, she had written, "Life’s a party when you are with your soulmate." And on June 18, 2019, Nawab shared the same picture, and he captioned it as, "Happiness". Coming back to Pooja's broken marriage, the actress had revealed the details about her it in a throwback interview. She had shared, "I've lived through the most grueling, lonely and difficult phase of my life! All the negative energies from my eight-year marriage and divorce burst out on the sets like a pressure cooker. The upheavals took a toll but my ambition to make a name for myself in this part of the world kept me going."
After getting divorced, the actress had given love another try and that's when she found love in Norwegian-born, Christian Middelthon. In a 2016 interview, she had talked about her new-found love, and had shared, "Yes! I have a European boyfriend… If you’re asking if marriage is on my mind, it is not, simply because I am independent. I have my business to sustain. Financially, I am self-sufficient and would love to not be married as of now." But things never reached the wedding cards and their relationship ended.
