On October 4, 2022, Pavitra Punia had shared a selfie of herself, flaunting a huge diamond ring at the camera, and she had looked the happiest. As soon as she shared the picture on her IG stories, her fans had started speculating her engagement with her boyfriend, Eijaz Khan, and it became the hot topic of discussion among the gossipmongers. However, it was not sure if the reports were true, as there was no confirmation about the same. Sharing the picture, Pavitra had penned:

A few moments back, Eijaz Khan took to his IG handle and shared a collaborative post with his girlfriend, Pavitra Punia. He shared a series of mushy pictures from their dreamy proposal and announced their engagement in the sweetest way possible. In the pictures, the couple can be seen sitting in a dark room and Eijaz was seen proposing to his ladylove, Pavitra. The pictures were too precious for words, and it simply melted our hearts. However, it was Pavitra's reaction that caught our attention as she was on cloud nine!

In one of the pictures, Pavitra can be seen flaunting her huge engagement ring, and the glow on her face was unmissable. Sharing the photos, Eijaz penned a beautiful note and mentioned that if they keep waiting for the right moment, it will never come. However, he added that Pavitra said 'Yes' to his dreamy proposal. His note can be read as:

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Pavitra Punia had opened up about her plans to get married to her actor-boyfriend, Eijaz Khan. The actress mentioned that she and Eijaz are as good as married and added that they had been trying their best to find some time from their extremely tight schedules. Revealing that their wedding would be very instant, Pavitra had stated:
"Everyone is always asking us about our marriage but honestly, we are as good as married. When you have lived with someone for long, you stop looking at each other as boyfriend, girlfriend. But, when we will officially announce ourselves as husband and wife in a ceremony, is not in our hands. We have been planning since last year that we will do it this year and this year also we are planning it will be this year. Our wedding will be very instant because we have such packed lives. We are trying hard to figure out where to fit our marriage in our schedule!"
