Venkat Prabhu’s latest directorial feat, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), has made headlines almost daily since its release on September 3, 2024. While the film is gaining attention for its massive commercial success, one of its stars is in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. Parvati Nair, who until recently was being commended for her performance in GOAT, is now involved in a legal tussle. Charges have been filed against her, Ayalaan producer, Rajesh and five others for allegedly assaulting her domestic help.
Parvati Nair is currently being investigated by the Tamil Nadu police for allegedly slapping a helper named Subhas Chandra Bose. Subhas, a KJR Studios worker, was also tasked with performing domestic chores in Parvati’s house in 2022. For the uninitiated, Parvati ended up filing a complaint against him in the same year as she suspected him of stealing valuables worth Rs. 9 lakh from the premises. Subhas has recently come forward with a counter-claim against the actress and her assistants. He alleged that he was confined in a room while Parvati slapped him and her aides verbally abused him. Initially, Subhas had lodged a police complaint regarding the incident but saw no action. He then approached the Saidapet 19th MM Court, who ordered the police to register an FIR. Amid all the fiasco, people are searching for details about the actess. Read on to know more about her.
Even as a teenager, Parvati Nair’s exceptional beauty was undeniable. At the tender age of 15, she won the title of Miss Karnataka which kickstarted her career as a full-time model. Her natural allure led to projects with renowned brands like Asian Paints, Reliance, Mazaa, Prestige, Mysore Sandal Soap, and Malabar Gold, among others.
Like many celebs before her, Parvati decided to replace fashion shoots with film sets. She made her acting debut with the 2012 Malayalam film, Poppins. Parvati knocked off a Bollywood debut from her to-do list in the year 2021. Kabir Khan’s 83, starring Ranveer Singh, became her launchpad as she played a supporting role as ‘Marshneil Gavaskar’, Sunil Gavaskar’s wife.
During the 2016 Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), Parvati was introduced as the brand ambassador of the Karnataka Bulldozers. She was spotted showing her love for Royal Challengers Bangalore during their matches in the 2015 season of the IPL.
In 2018, Peta India’s ‘Adopt A Stray Dog’ campaign also featured Parvati as a brand ambassador. In the same year, she partnered with Ashok Selvan to serve as brand ambassadors for the World Junior Squash Championships that took place in Chennai.
