From WhatsApp chats to 12 AM calls, beautiful surprises to a never-ending party, the birthday fun goes on for weeks. Whether five or fifty, the enthusiasm on one’s birthday remains the same. But apart from all the wishes, the one that stands out is from our partner. And in Archan Puran Singh's case, her husband, Parmeet Sethi’s has stood up to her expectations. The glamour world has given us many adorable couples but Archan Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi have always won our hearts. It has been close to three decades of their marriage and they still radiate a beautiful charm in their relationship. For the unversed, Archana had met Parmeet for the first time at a party and at that point of time, she hadn't wanted a man in her life because of a failed marriage. But as destiny had it, 'Miss Braganza' of B-town, Archana Puran Singh couldn’t help but fall in love with the charmer, Parmeet Sethi. The two are living a happy life with their two sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan.
On September 26, 2020, Archana turned a year older and her husband shared a lovely wish for her. He took to his IG handle and shared a throwback picture and wrote, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY WIFEY” followed by love-struck and kissing emoticons. On the other hand, Archana took to her IG handle and shared a heartmelting video made by her sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan for their darling mother. The video was a compilation of all the beautiful moments of Archana with her loved ones. Along with the video, Archana wrote a thank you note for babies which can be read as “MY BIRTHDAY VIDEO made with so much mehnat and love by my sons @ayushmaansethi @aaryamannsethi. I have no idea where they unearthed these photographs from... each picture is a milestone of my journey with the people who I love. They've put emotion and love and humour and laughter in this video... Much like my life itself... which has been a rollercoaster of all these .... and is beautiful because I have my family in it. A few months back, Archana and Parmeet had reminisced the memories of their wedding on The Kapil Sharma Show. Archana had recalled that to marry Parmeet, she had eloped from her house. Revealing how Archana had forced him to marry her, Parmeet had said, “She created such a situation that I had no other option left." Tongue-in-cheek to which, his better-half, Archana had retorted, "He’s lying, he proposed to me. But we actually eloped to get married." Recalling how the pandit ji had asked them if the girl is legally eligible for marriage since they have eloped for the wedding, Parmeet Sethi had shared, "At midnight, when we finally found a pandit, he asked us if we were eloping and whether the girl was baalik (of legal age), to which I replied ‘Mere se zyada baalik hai ladki'." Parmeet had continued that after hesitation, the pandit had agreed and the couple had exchanged their wedding vows at 11 am next morning.
On June 30, 2020, Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi had completed 28 years of marital bliss and to mark the special day, they had posted heartfelt notes for each other on their respective social media profiles. While Archana had captioned their couple picture as "28 years. And I still ask you "how many years has it been"? And you complain "you never remember"!! Here's to not remembering but always celebrating our anniversary @iamparmeetsethi", Parmeet had written, "It's been 28 years since I married this sexy, beautiful, mad and crazy thing!!
