Known as the ‘sanskari playboy’ of Bigg Boss 13, Paras Chhabra never leaves a chance to be in the limelight. His bonding with female co-contestants, Mahira Sharma and Shehnaaz Gill has always been the centre of attraction for the audiences. He enjoys being a ‘ladies’ man’ and loves the attention he gets from all the female contestants. This is Paras’ equation with co-contestants inside the house, but outside the house, he is in a serious relationship with his co-star, Akanksha Puri. The madly-in-love couple have been in a relationship for over 2 years now and are going steady. However, Paras’ statements about their relationship inside the house have made us wonder, ‘are they faking it for the limelight’?
Akanksha Puri has been supporting Paras Chhabra from outside the house and has been explaining their relationship status in numerous interviews and chat shows. Recently, she appeared on the weekend ka vaar episode of Bigg Boss 13 and opened up about Paras’ bond with Mahira Sharma and Shehnaaz Gill. She clarified that he is doing all this for the show, and she doesn’t have a problem with him flirting around. She said that she knows Paras' playboy image sells and is completely supportive of his game. Akanksha also revealed that it was her, who had asked Paras to don a playboy image and ultimately win the game.
Akanksha Puri also warned her beau, Paras Chhabra that he must be in his limits and not cross the line beyond fun. Akanksha also stated that whatever Paras is doing he should be aware that he is doing it inside the house and there are no cameras around her. The duo has been giving numerous shocking statements about each other and their relationship and leaving the audiences in dilemma about their actual relationship status.
In a recent interview with IWM Buzz, Akanksha cleared her statements and said that she has no plans to play the field but is affirmed that she wants Paras to keep his guard up. When quipped about her look-out on Paras shifting sides with Sidharth Shukla, Akanksha said that it is his game strategy and nothing else. When quipped further, if doing so is morally correct or not, she said that in the Bigg Boss house, it is not about right or wrong. What really matters is who plays smart and emerges as the winner of the show. Akanksha concluded by saying that she wishes Paras to walk out of the house with BB 13 trophy. During one of the promos of Bigg Boss, Shehnaaz Gill and Mahira Sharma were seen fighting over Paras Chhabra. Akanksha Puri, in an interview with The Times of India, had revealed that she is enjoying the attention that Paras is getting from the female contestants and had said, “I saw the latest promo of Shehnaaz and Mahira Sharma fighting for Paras and I couldn't stop laughing. He is doing a wonderful job on the show. If he is making two people lose their focus from the game and is making them fight for him, then I would say he is a real winner for him. I am thoroughly enjoying myself while watching him on the show."
In one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 13, Paras Chhabra had proposed to Mahira Sharma. In an earlier interview with IWM BUZZ, Akanksha had commented on the same and had said, “I have not seen what you said, so can’t comment. But like I have always maintained in my earlier interviews, I will continue to stand by him. I will not prejudge him. Let him come out and then we will discuss.” Akanksha had further added that he is doing it to win the show and they already discussed his game plans.
Shehnaaz Gill is famous for her outspokenness and bubbliness inside the Bigg Boss house and shares a great bond with Paras Chhabra. Akanksha, during the same interview, had also commented on her and had said that she is a 'despo', who will do anything to get attention. Mahira Sharma too shares an unmissable bond with Paras and Akanksha thinks that she is a 'smart player' and is keeping her dignity intact.
