In an interview with ETimes, Shiny Doshi had spoken about her relationship with her husband-to-be, Lavesh Khairajani, for the first time in three years and had revealed what attracted her towards him. Shiny had said that Lavesh has a great sense of humour and is also very intelligent. The actress had also stated that the past five-six months which she had spent with him are one of the most blissful months of her life so far. Shiny had also added that she couldn't recall a single fight between them, and a lot of its credit goes to their great companionship and comfort level with each other.

At the end of her interview, when asked if marriage was on the cards, Shiny Doshi had retorted, "We have been wanting to tie the knot, but have decided to let this phase pass. One can't think of celebrating during such grim times. We would also want our relatives and well-wishers to attend our big day and bless us. We will finalise a date once things have settled."
