Pahadi Bride Wore Gorgeous Orange And Pink-Hued Lehenga With Traditional 'Tehri Nath'

Decked up in the prettiest red lehenga with heavy jewellery and a coy smile, it perfectly describes an Indian bride. However, India has a diverse religion, and with every mile, you will see people following their own beliefs. While most Indian weddings have similar age-old rituals and traditions, the bride's attire is not the same. At a Punjabi wedding, you would see the bride donning a red patiala suit. On the other hand, at a Marathi wedding, the bride would wear a nauvari saree.

Bengali brides love their red sarees, and a Muslim bride is obsessed with shararas. It is fun to witness India at the time of the wedding season. From the bride's unique outfit to the culture and people dancing to the beats of dhol, a wedding in India is no less than a festival. Recently, we stumbled upon the wedding pictures of a Pahadi bride and got a glimpse of her rich culture.

The bride of the week, Shriya Negi gave us major goals with her wedding ceremony in the midst of lush green mountains. The bride looked beautiful as she donned an orange-coloured lehenga with heavy zari embroidery all over it. However, she added a pop of colour with her rani pink dupatta, which she had carefully tucked on her head. And another dupatta was secured on her shoulder with a matching belt.

The bride accessorised her look with traditional trinkets. She wore a heavy maang teeka, a choker necklace with matching earrings, chooda and kaleeras. However, it was her tehri nath, which is the most important jewellery of the Pahadi bride, that left us stunned. The statement nath with heavy chain added more charm to her look.

The bride made sure to keep her makeup minimal which matches the serene beauty of the mountains. She opted for a dewy sheen look with soft glittery eyes, perfectly lined eyes and pink-toned lipstick. However, it was her hair adorned with baby flowers that completed her bridal look.

On the other hand, her groom had worn cream-coloure sherwani with golden butti-work. He had accentuated his look with a pink-hued doshala, a silver sehra, a layered necklace, and a sword.

We love the bride's Pahadi wedding and the vibe! What about you?
