However, many girls dream of turning a summer bride had gotten ruined because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the overnight 'stay at home' orders by the government of India. Getting married in the times of Coronavirus seemed a distant dream, but no pandemic or epidemic can stop the lovers from uniting. When the lockdown was lifted, the first thing every soon-to-be married couple did was to re-schedule their wedding date. And television actress, Niti Taylor and her fiance, Parikshit Bawa are one of those couples. On October 6, 2020, Niti took to her Instagram handle and shared the happy news of tying the knot with her 'mister right', Parikshit. The actress shared a wedding trailer of her wedding and had revealed that she had gotten married on August 13, 2020. However, she had thought that the pandemic will get over and she will be able to celebrate, but it had ruined her plans of big celebrations.
Since morning, social media is abuzz with Niti and Parikshit's wedding pictures, but it were their unseen mehendi pictures that won our hearts. For the mehendi ceremony, Niti had kept her look subtle and had opted for an Indo-western ensemble. She had donned a red and yellow traditional lehenga skirt and teamed it with a crisp white shirt. She had completed her look with a silver maang teeka and matching earrings. Niti was looking super gorgeous with her mehendi clad hands and feet. On the other hand, Parikshit had complemented her by opting for a yellow kurta.
Niti had also shared a beautiful picture from her wedding. Alongside it, she had written, "MRS Niti Parikshit Bawa. Tum kuch adhure se Hum bhi kuch aadhe. Aadha aadha hum jo dono mila de. To ban jayegi apni ek jindgani. Ye duniya mile na mile hum ko. Khushiya bhaga dengi har gham ko. Tum saath ho phir kya baaki hai Mere liye tum kaafi hoding day wit her hubby, Parikshit." Talking about Niti and Parikshit's love story, in a last year interview with the Bombay Times, the actress had revealed how the two had fallen in love. She had stated, “I knew Parikshit from school and back then, we were good friends. A few months ago, we reconnected on Instagram. When I started to know him better, I realised that he is a gem of a person. I met him in Delhi. My parents met him too, and they also liked him a lot. The best part about having Parikshit in my life is that we share the same qualities.” Niti had also opened up on her marriage plans and had said, “We don’t plan to get married this year. Hopefully, it should happen next year. My fiance’s job takes him to different places, while I am currently based in Mumbai.”
