There was a time when television celebrities, Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal were one of the most adored couples, who had never failed to give us major couple goals with their social media PDAs, romantic pictures and mushy videos. However, things have had changed drastically. As of today, they're not even on talking terms and are fighting legally in court for their son, Kavish Mehra's custody. For the unversed, Karan and Nisha had tied the marital knot on November 24, 2012. After some years of their happy married life, they were blessed with a baby boy, whom they had lovingly named Kavish Mehra.
However, cracks soon started appearing in their married life, and things got out of hand when Nisha Rawal filed an FIR against her husband, Karan Mehra, for domestic abuse. After which, she had started living separately with her son, Kavish. The case is still in progress, and in the meantime, Kavish is in his mother's custody.

On June 15, 2022, Nisha Rawal took to her Instagram handle and shared a video from her son, Kavish Mehra's 5th birthday. In the video, the mommy-son duo can be seen visiting an NGO and spending some beautiful time with the kids there. In the video, Nisha and Kavish can be spotted dancing and playing with the kids at the NGO, and it was indeed a sight to behold. Not only this but even Kavish was spotted playing with some children and also distributing gifts to them after the cake-cutting ceremony. As soon as the video was uploaded on Instagram, tons of celebrities and people started praising Nisha's decision to celebrate Kavish's birthday at an NGO and for teaching him the right values. Along with the video, Nisha penned a note in the caption, and it can be read as:

On June 14, 2022, Nisha Rawal had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a memorable video to wish her son, Kavish Mehra, on his 5th birthday. In the video, we could spot the mommy-son duo's priceless pictures and short clips from their memory lane that clearly depicts their concrete bond. Along with this video, Nisha had also penned a heart-melting note for her little buddy in the caption. In her note, Nisha showered her immense love and care on Kavish, and it could be read as:
"With every pore of my being, with every step I take, with every sunrise & sunset, with every chapter of my life, with all the blood that runs through my veins, I love you beyond eternity my Littloo @kavishmehra. Gimme 5 and Happy 5 Years. Go get the world!"

While Nisha Rawal had celebrated her son, Kavish Mehra's 5th birthday at an NGO, it was his father, Karan Mehra, who had cut a DC-themed customised cake all alone to mark his son's birthday. The actor had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a video in which he could be seen cutting the delicious cake and celebrating his son's birthday. The doting daddy had also admitted that he had missed his son terribly on his birthday but had ensured him that he was fighting for him. Karan Mehra had also stated that soon he and Kavish would be together. While sharing the video, Karan had also penned a heartfelt note in the caption, and it could be read as:
"Happy Birthday my little Kavish. Daddy loves you and misses you like crazy but the fight is on and he will not give up on you. Hang on a little longer and nothing will and nothing can keep you away from me. Please shower your blessing on my minion. Kove and Kugs."
