Devoleena Bhattacharjee has been making the headlines for her secretive marriage with her gym trainer. While everyone thought that Devoleena would marry her on-screen devar, Vishal Singh, who worked with her in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, the actress surprised everyone by tying the knot with Shanawaz Shaikh. The sweetest couple exchanged varmaalas on December 14, 2022, in the presence of their family and close friends.
Now, in a recent interview with the ETimes, Devoleena Bhattacharjee revealed the name of the one person for whom her hubby has postponed their honeymoon. In the conversation, Devoleena mentioned that she owns a pet, Angel and more than her, Shanawaz loves her pet. Hence, they are searching for places to take their pet along. She said:
"Angel (her pet) is in our lives and more than me, he loves her. So, we are scouting for places where we can take her along.”

In the same conversation, Devoleena added that one more reason why their honeymoon plans got cancelled was her busy professional life. She said that they have not finalised the date yet but would consider going on a vacation in New Year. She stated:
“As of now, we haven't finalised a place. Maybe, after New Year's, as I am packed till the end of this month."
As we know, Devoleena’s marriage was no less than a private affair, so much so that even the media didn’t know about her groom. Earlier, in a candid conversation with the ETimes, Devoleena had revealed the real reason behind keeping her wedding under the wraps. She said that they wanted to reveal the good news of their union only at their reception party. However, the actress could not keep calm from posting dreamy pictures of their marriage on her Instagram handle.

Devoleena also mentioned that her hubby, whom she lovingly calls Shonu doesn’t like attention. While talking about the trolling she received for marrying a Muslim man, the actress said that in our society, a woman is constantly trolled for her choices. From being called a gold digger for marrying a rich guy to getting shamed for tying the knot with an average-looking man, a woman is always judged for her choices. Hence, Devoleena decided to ignore the trolls without paying any attention to them.
Recently, we saw the newly wedded couple making their first public appearance post-marriage. For the outing, the actress was seen donning a maroon-hued salwar suit with a sheer ivory dupatta, and Shanwaz donned a blue pantsuit. We also got a glimpse of them dancing adorably at a party.
