The COVID-19 outbreak in India has been breaking new records every day with cases rising sky high. On April 17, 2021, Bollywood actor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and his entire family, except his mother have been tested positive for Coronavirus. However, the sad part is that his two-year-old daughter, Nurvi has also been diagnosed with COVID-19. The family has home quarantined themselves.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Neil had shared a picture, with the note, "In spite of all the necessary precautions, including staying home, unfortunately, members of my family and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are all home quarantined, following the essential protocols and taking medication as prescribed by our doctors. We thank all of you for your love and good wishes."
Recently, in an interview with SpotboyE, Neil opened up on the feeling he had felt when he had found out that his two-year-old daughter, Nurvi is also COVID-19 positive. He shared, "You can imagine how tough it is for me to know Nurvi is with the virus. She’s tested positive. But luckily she is not in any discomfort. She was down with a fever the first two days, and that’s how we all got ourselves tested…Papa (singer Nitin Mukesh), Naman (Neil’s brother), Rukmini (Neil’s wife) and Nurvi (Neil’s daughter) have all tested positive, but as of now my Mom is okay."
Neil further added that the worst thing is there are no hard and fast rules in this. Every person gets it in a different way. Neil also shared that his family's symptoms are mild. And also asked everyone to pray that it stays that way.

On September 20, 2020, Neil's little angel had celebrated her second birthday, and the actor had penned his feelings in a note for her. The doting daddy had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a picture with his baby girl, Nurvi. Alongside the picture, he had written, "Happy 2nd Birthday my baby. Papa loves you the most in this universe. May God bless you with all the Happiness . May you be showered with all the love always. I am blessed to be your father. I surely have done something right to get a child like you. You are my all . Thank you for being mine!"
