Nehha Pendse became an inspiration for everyone when she had shed those extra kilos and transformed her body from ‘fat to fab’ with pole dancing and healthy diet. Nehha had given major fitness goals and proved unconventional pole dancing to be a perfect way to lose weight. Then in 2018, Nehha had participated in the twelfth season of the most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss. But of late, more than her professional reasons, Nehha Pendse had been hitting the headlines for her personal life. Nehha had tied the knot with her fiance, Shardul Singh Bayas and as per Maharashtrian rituals, they were pronounced husband and wife on January 5, 2020. Post her wedding, Nehha, in an interview with SpotboyE had revealed that her husband, Shardul has two kids from his previous failed marriages. Since then, Nehha has been flooded with questions pertaining to her husband’s past relationships and even got trolled for the same.
Finally, a few hours back, Nehha Pendse took to her Insta stories and addressed the trolls, who have been targeting her with negative comments and mocking her husband, Shardul Singh Bayas for being divorced twice. Lashing out at the trolls with her gym Insta videos, Nehha captioned one of them as "Coz I got life" and wrote on another, "Me: kya bola, Trollers: I didn't mean it, I just wanted ur attention, also m not happy for u, also..., Me: I know."
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Nehha Pendse had reacted to the question, “What’s the big deal about this?” and had retorted, “Today, many of us are getting married late because of various reasons, including the focus on career. A lot of people end up having more than one relationship before finally tying the knot. The commitment, love and physical proximity could be the same as it is in a marriage, the only difference is that there is no legal stamp over it. So, why are people talking about Shardul being a divorcee?”
Sharing that they both have accepted each other’s past wholeheartedly, Nehha Pendse had stated, “I knew that this would come up at some point and was open to talking about it. Shardul and I have accepted each other’s past wholeheartedly, so there is no fear of talking about it. As I had mentioned in my previous interview to BT, we would hardly have romantic conversations during the initial months of our relationship; there was a lot of talking, but about our lives. Revealing that she has met Shardul’s first wife and his two children and is in fact, friends with his elder daughter on social media, Nehha Pendse had remarked, “His first marriage ended around 10 years ago and second, five years ago. They (his first wife and daughters) were gracious enough to meet me and I realised that their relationship had ended amicably. They were young when they got married and made some mistakes. But what’s important is that they remain cordial and Shardul is a doting father.”
Coming back to Nehha Pendse and Shardul Singh Bayas’ wedding, her pre-wedding functions had begun with the ‘grahmukh puja’ and the then-soon-to-be bride had taken to her Instagram to share the glimpses. Dressed in traditional Marathi attire, Nehha had looked resplendent in a beige and red-coloured saree with a pearl mundavlya on her forehead. For the sangeet ceremony, Nehha and Shardul had colour-coordinated in multi-coloured ensembles. And for their engagement, Nehha had looked stunning in a forest green fit and flare gown while her fiancé, Shardul had complemented her in a suit.
For the wedding, Nehha had looked graceful as ever in a pastel-pink Nauvari saree and had accentuated her look with hair tied in a bun, adorned with flowers, pearl and jadau jewellery, a crescent moon bindi, a traditional nath and green bangles. Shardul had complemented his bride in an off-white and pink-coloured sherwani and a matching safa. Nehha and Shardul’s wedding ceremonies concluded with a reception bash, for which, they had left us spellbound with their amazing looks. While Nehha had taken the unconventional route and had opted for an Indo-western look in a thigh-high slit strapless royal blue gown. Adding an extra oomph to her attire, Nehha’s gown had golden embellishments and she had sported a messy bun and minimal jewellery.
