Every couple, when embraces parenthood, looks forward to holding their piece of heart in their arms. Every mom and dad don’t want to miss their little munchkin’s every firsts. Whether it is the baby’s smile in his/her sleep or when he/she calls out maa/paa for the first time, all the moments spend with the little one are cherished throughout the life, and no parent would want to miss any of those. And such etched are Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi as parents to their 8-month-old daughter, Mehr Dhupia Bedi.
During the International Breastfeeding Week 2019, Neha had shared her motherhood and breastfeeding journey on her official Instagram handle. Her inspiring voyage has been drawing many takers on social media. She has been reposting the exciting stories of real mommies (celebrities as well as non-celebrities), their trials and troubles on her official Instagram handle. Amidst all this, last afternoon (August 7, 2019), the newbie mommy and daddy, Neha and Angad took some time off their baby duties of Mehr, and spent some quality time with each other. The two were spotted on a lunch date after a longtime. While Neha was seen slaying in her casual off-shoulder pink dress, Angad, on the other hand, was in his cool best as he sported a blue jacket and denim. Take a look at the pictures here:
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Angad had revealed that he had popped up the question to Neha way back when he was playing Under-19 cricket. Giving an insight to their love story, Angad was quoted as saying, “When I used to play Under-19 cricket in Delhi, during a gym session, I spotted this girl in really tiny shorts. I was impressed with her running technique. Elaborating on the same, he had further gone on to add, “Then, many years later, we met in Mumbai and became friends. I was interested in her, but she said that she wanted to be just friends. We have both been in relationships with other people and there has never been a facade. When it comes to spending the rest of your life with someone, you should do it with a friend. It doesn’t matter if that person is illiterate, educated or earns `10 or `10 crore. Eventually, these things don’t matter.”
In another media interaction, sharing her side of the love chronicle, Neha had revealed that Angad always wanted her to be his wife or nothing. She had revealed how serious he has been about dating and marrying her. The Ek Chalis Ki Last Local actress had remarked, “Our friends knew that Angad had feelings for me, but it was one-sided, till I came around. He had proposed marriage to me four years ago, but I turned down his proposal at that time because I was in a relationship. She had further added, “He said, ‘I don’t want to be just in a relationship with you. Either you are my wife or nothing’. I always believe in one thing-the right time and place. In the past four years, I have seen a huge change in him. He has matured a lot. In the end, everything else goes flying out of the window and friendship is all that matters. I can promise you that we aren’t going be a couple who will post a lot about ourselves on social media.”
Coming to their ‘joint production’, Mehr Dhupia Bedi, just like any other parents, Angad and Neha too are living these moments with their little one to the fullest. Neha is amongst those celeb moms, who have been striking a perfect balance in her professional and personal lives. Talking about the same in a chat with the Times Now, she had remarked, "It is tough I wish there were three more Neha. I have a small team that is careful about the things I want to do they are very conscious about the things the I do. When I am away from my baby, I have lovely people looking after her. I have never left her for a whole night, I come back every time. With half of my head there, I manage. I won't say it is easy."
Neha and Angad have not really shared a clear complete picture of their daughter, Mehr. When she was probed to tell the reason behind the same, she had replied, "Right now there are no pictures of Mehr that have been leaked. It has been great. It is the world we have been living in people are going to be curious about what she looks like, where she is, whether she can be photographed or not. We try to manoeuvre around the press a lot. I mean even as much as other kids who are papped, their parents are not okay with their kids being papped. Even after saying all of the above, I love the media, there is no running from press and media. Press and media have never been mean to us. I have never been against them, I just have one thing in my mind as a mother that I have to protect her from as much as I can from going public.
