Women’s Day is every day! Basically, every human’s day is every day, it just that we need a reminder to celebrate genders, lives, love and every other thing. We all get so drenched in the monotony of life that we forget to celebrate ourselves and our loved ones. It comes as a good reminder that we genuinely need to take out some time from our busy schedule and cherish the people we have in our lives. International Women’s Day 2021 was one such day, where we saw people celebrate the women in their lives. Neeti Mohan, who is five months pregnant, also celebrated the day with her mother, Kusum Mohan and sisters, Shakti Mohan, Mukti Mohan, and Kriti Mohan. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, i.e., on March 8, 2021, Neeti had shared a picture on her IG stories, and we had loved it for the way she had twirled, breaking the stereotypes set for a pregnant woman. Yes, Neeti had shared a picture, where she could be seen twirling in a flowy green dress, flaunting her baby bump, breaking all the ‘arey yeh mat karo, bache pe asar hoga’. Sharing the picture, she had also penned a strong note, which could be read as “We have the power to create! A beautiful today and tomorrow #HappyWomensDay” atop it.
Well, Neeti not only sent out a strong message but also ensured that she celebrates this beautiful day with her family. Her sister, Mukti Mohan took to her IG handle and shared two happy pictures. In one picture, we can see pregger Neeti being surrounded by her mother, Kusum, and sisters, Shakti Mohan, Mukti Mohan and Kriti Mohan as they all happily posed for a selfie, twinning in yellow. The other one was of their mother with their father, Brijmohan Sharma. Sharing the picture, Mukti penned a long note, which can be read as “Eternally grateful for growing up with immensely loving, powerful, nurturing, compassionate energies around me who make my every normal day feel like women’s day! But this is only possible because one MAN in our house, my father, who is more nurturing than any woman I know!!”
She further thanked her father for taking care of the women in his life perfectly. She added, “Dad I know you said -“We don’t need “a day” to celebrate women who are way superior than men, when we can do it everyday!” You rightfully took care of mom and all your 4 daughters under the same roof for years and even now setting the standard very high!! You are inspiring so many fathers to raise their daughters like you did! It was on the occasion of their second anniversary that Neeti Mohan and Nihaar Pandya had announced their first pregnancy on social media. The singer had donned a shibori printed yellow shirt dress and vibrant tasselled flats. Neeti and Nihaar had posed happily for their pregnancy announcement pictures. Neeti had captioned it as "1+1= 3 Mommy to be & Daddy to be. What better day to announce than our second Anniversary!!"
