Over the past few months, the pandemic has caused everyone to explore different routines while staying at home and the B-town couples have been making most of their time together during the lockdown. Or maybe not! If we go by Neena Gupta's hilarious video about her hubby, Vivek Mehra's phubbing problem, it looks like his phone is getting more attention from him than his wife. A while back, Neena Gupta posted a video shot by her husband, Vivek Mehra, which she has captioned as "Best part husband hi video shoot ker raha tha thank u vivek." Neena ji, in her video, revealed how she has learnt sign language during the lockdown to talk to her husband, who is always busy on his phone. Neena ji enacted how she tells him if she wants to ask for lunch or dinner, inform him that she's going to sleep or for the walk. The video begins with "So is lockdown mein maine ek nahi cheez seekhi hai maine kaha aapse share kar doon. Maine is lockdown me sign language seekhi hai. Sign language kaise ki jo mere husband hai vo saara time phone pe rehte hai. Matlab jab lage note hai too 80 nahi 90% time phone pe rehte hai." In an interview with Rediff.com, when Neena Gupta was asked if her marriage had made any difference in the kind of roles she is offered, she had retorted, "No, it has made no difference. The reason I am getting better roles is because of an Instagram post a year ago where I didn't just ask for a job, but I also said I live in Mumbai, not Delhi. People assumed that after my marriage (to Vivek Mehra), I would live in Delhi because my husband lived in Delhi. People started thinking, 'Woh toh nahin karti ab (She doesn't work anymore).' So I started getting very frustrated." (Also Read: Trishala Dutt Reveals How Her Mental Health Suffered Post Death Of Boyfriend And How She's Coping Up)

Neena Gupta and Vivek Mehra

It was in 2002, when a 49-year-old single mother, Neena Gupta had met the man of her dreams, Vivek Mehra, a Delhi-based CA, on a flight. During the journey, Neena and Vivek had bonded well and despite their bitter past relationships, they had managed to hide their relationship from the media for six years. In 2008, Neena and Vivek had attended a wedding in the US where the latter had surprised her with the marriage proposal, to which, the former had said 'yes'. And in two days, Vivek and Neena had tied the knot in a traditional way. Speaking of how it is important for a woman to marry if she wants to live in India, Neena ji had said in a media interview, “If you want to live in India and in society, you have to marry.’ Do not be this modern woman that I was, saying I don’t believe in marriage. You have to marry.” (Also Read: Sangeita Chauhaan's Reply When Manish Raisinghan Asked If He Can Go On Post-Marriage Bachelors' Trip)
